Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Bed sub mattress is foam and mattress tended to slide off if you are towards the edge of the bed. They are comfortable when asleep.
Staff all willing to help. Secure parking. A lot quieter than expected being on the airport.

The corridors are a bit dark perhaps but good atmosphere.
Nice modern new hotel, light and comfortable, comfy bed, nice shower and separate toilet room. Close to motorway but well insulated. Good sleep, good parking ! Restaurant la Place in building, good food, nice staff, .

The restaurant was basic and not enough food on the menu. It was difficult to.communicate with the staff.

Quite impersonal, self-service check-in and check out. No staff except one person being all around. No fridge in the room.
Great modern rooms, very next to the airport with free parking and a LaPlace attached to it where you can have breakfast.

No hairdryer. ‘Automatic’ check-in is not user friendly. Breakfast was a chaotic disaster, avoid if hotel is full as staff are badly dispatched and unorganised, needs a lot to be improved. Not enough cutlery, mussing products, slow coffee counter, no labels or wrong so not always clear what is available. Difficult to get to hotel.
Design was very nice and unusual. Open bathroom was much better than in most hotels and made the room feel bigger. Free car park All in all a very nice option for cheaper stay close to Maastricht

I have to be picky but when talking the room sounded like echoing. If that makes sense
Staff was helpful and friendly. The room and building was very clean. Room was basic but efficient for one night. No noise because of airport.

Breakfast and in general food was really bad. Not a surprise coming from La Place, but a shame I could not get a better service in that regard.
Beds were good, room in general was nicely decorated and comfortable.

Everything was good, the staff were a little bit funny when our flight got delayed and said we couldn’t check in late, which is weird because it said 24 hour check in which is why we booked it (because we travel a bit and know flights get delayed)

The sink is part of the room which is something I personally don't prefer.
Very clean and comfortable rooms. We had the deluxe twin rooms and they were sufficiently large. Beds were comfortable and the shower and toilet were also large enough. The hotel is furnished well.They have free parking at the location. The hotel is also not very far from Maastricht and is just a short 15min drive.

Not always very functional, the bath is not properly isolated and water leaks out to the room. The washbasin is slightly too high and retreated, meaning you have to lean over to brush your teeth. And 120€ for one night feels overpriced.
Very nice new hotel, comfortable, well designed. Close to the highway.

Airconditiong was working too well, it was too cold for us. The topmattresses were comfortable soft but they slide easily away from the underlying mattresses.
Modern furnished hotel with big flatscreen and Italian douche. Free parking close to the highway. Very friendly staff at the reception. Breakfast in La Place restaurant was good.
