Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We almost died at night (obviously not literally) as no window would open at all and there seemed to be barely any ventilation. woke up at 3am again to try to open a window but just gave up as there literally was nothing. Also we frequently heard as if someone was trying to open our door or even succeeding but it was just the sound of the rooms nearby, you can hear it quite well and that can be a bit annoying.
I liked the hotel experience I got here. It was easy to find even tho some reviews said it wasn’t, it was. Friendly staff and helpful as well. The beds we’re comfortable and so on. The breakfast was small but still good enough to get going with ur day, the staff at the breakfast are very helpful and kind which brings a good atmosphere even for people who hate mornings!. The little bar was also nice and is open till late with beer and cocktails. The gym is 24/7 and it is a nice one as well, enjoyed it.

It is located in the mall, so to get to the hotel, you have to go through it. The wait for the elevator can be a bit long sometimes.
The breakfast was great, bed was comfortable. Next to the train station (so only 30min from Amsterdam) and the city center.

The hallway was a little bit dirty. Long time to wait for elevators.
Location, it was next to train station. Ideal if you are travelling a lot outside of city. Nice staff, good breakfast.

I would say this is a bit of a personal preference. When you close the dior of the toilet there is still a gap between the door and the wall, so there is no privacy (sound wise) really when you need to use the toilet.
The room was really nice and comfortable. The staff was very kind and the breakfast had a really nice variety.

The location is wonderful, even for Amsterdam or to reach any other nearby location. The hotel itself is cozy enough to be located in the middle of the shopping centre. Tens of restaurants in the walking distance, women can enjoy themselves of the shopping possibilities. Different worlds in your reach, beautiful Utrect city, commercial shopping centre, excellent travelling possibilities and by renting a car, also the tulips. One of the more convenient hotels to reach everything you need for a weekend getaway, or longer.

The room is very small, not comfortable at all, but very expensive! This is why I guess the cost/value ratio of the hotel is not nice at all. Even the breakfast is correct, but the orange juice is very basic, comparing to other, even less expensive hotels. Very bad experience, that there is no toilet brush in the bathroom. I don't want to describe the consequences...
The most positive element is the location of the hotel, because it's only 300 m far from the historical center of Utrecht. The hotel is the part of a great mall, very close to the railway station, trams, buses. There is a parking opportunity belonging to the mall, even it's quite expensive, 40 €/night. The breakfast is okay, quality and variety of the foods is excellent. The bed is very comfortable.

The elevators can be a bit busy during breakfast time, but it is not a big issue.

The weather at the time
Fabulous being located in a mall, with eating options plentiful especially travelling with teenagers. Across the walkway from Utrecht Centraal just perfect location. And included breakfast was fabulous with fresh food and great staff

The room could be bigger, but overall it is sufficient. It is not a cheap hotel, so sometimes it does not achieve value for money, but in January (out of season) for sure it gives value for money spent.
Great place to stay if you work in the Mall. It is close to the city center and very clean. Breakfast is excellent, you have a nice choice to choose from.

The rooms are not very sound proof so you can hear people walking in front of your room and also your neighbours. The staff could have been more attenuative rather than talking to each other all the time. Out of all the staff we saw only 2 were attentive to guests.
I like the location which was that it was in the mall. I have children so it was stress free and very comfortable room. The breakfast was good for the space and people. There were also games in the common area and lots of seating space. The rooms were perfect sized and very nice.

Very poor sound insulation meant that I could hear everything that was happening in the next-door room.
Extremely kind and attentive staff, good breakfast with several options for people with special dietary needs/requirements.
