Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Terrible customer service on here - I made an error when I was booking and messaged immediately. They refused to help and I had to complain to Booking to make a change I was willing to (and did) pay for. Also, it’s confusing to get to from the bus station - I went the wrong way twice and when I finally worked it out, there was no footpath so I was almost knocked down by the shuttle bus while walking in the road to get past the other Ibis
It’s a modern, clean, functional hotel with good facilities for the price and proximity to the airport. The reception staff were incredibly friendly at both 9pm and 5am. Shuttle was free, fast and on time.

Staff was not friendly. I asked about a restaurant and they told me there was one in the other ibis which serve a menu of 40 euros of frozen food. So my recommendations - do not go eat at the 1st floor. Or some snacks. I found it overpriced for the room and location.
It was ok. The room was ok but it was very warm inside. Breakfast was ok. I would recommend it for work to fly from schiphol

Location is rather remote with nothing close but another IBIS hotel. Very limited restaurant and bar facilities due to other hotel renovations.
Frequent shuttle bus to and from airport. Great staff and an excellent breakfast.

Some staffs can be bit unfriendly. When I stepped into the property, I would expect a friendly smile and a polite assistance, even though It was a express "environment."
Behind the room was a a small wetlands with trees, for me , it was beautiful and refreshing. The bed is clean and comfortable.

It's very difficult to open the doors. No restaurants around, but you can go to the airport by shuttle and grab whatever you want from there and come back.
The location is very close to the airport. There are airport shuttles every 20 minutes.very clean hotel. Rooms are very small but manageable.

We had to make the 3rd bed ourselves. The place wasn't too clean. It doesn't even have a kettle or a fridge in the room. It's really far from any place to eat so we walked 30min to eat in the worst restaurant ever. Only go if you have no choice but stay by the airport.
Nothing special, just a small room with beds. At least it's not too noisy. It has a shuttle from the airport which is practical.

Receptionist should have known to suggest cheaper taxi providers such as Uber or local taxi company. It would have been also nice if the receptionist would have recommended us public transport to the city after we asked if they perhaps have a shuttle bus between the city and hotel.
Room was clean and everything you would expect from a budget hotel was there. Breakfast was also nice.

Location is not that convenient by public transport...the bus station is across a busy road and not convenient when raining. The airport shuttle may have been a better option. The hotel should have the shuttle information more clearly shown on the listing

The room was very small for 3 people to stay in and the bathroom was dirty and the basin and the cups were really dirty looks like someone had stayed in and was rushed to be cleaned for the next guest who unfortunately it was us.
The room was not cleaned properly and it was very small for 3 people, it was cramped. The location was good and we did not have breakfast so I cannot comment on that. The staff were really good they were helpful and very friendly.

Was disappointed as had bunk bed. Our group is above 50 years of age and found difficulty to get up and down the ladder and was high risk of fall as well
