Only a minor issue.. it would have been nice to have a toaster supplied and another mirror other than the bathroom one but there was nothing else I would wish for

Central location and so easy to walk to all the Christmas markets that we wanted to see. The ground floor apartments were lovely and comfortable and nice and quiet too. Everything supplied for the kitchen was clean and looked new. A huge plus for us was the available parking space at the property which was free and right by the property.

The owners Theo, Sandra and their 2 sons are truly good people, i love them for what they are. The Motel is in the middle of Valkenburg centre but in the more quiet corner what i do like. There will be a next time again there for sure.

The Marx Motel was perfect for our family break. The owners are so friendly and helpful. The facilities were ideal for us travelling with a 6 year old. We used the pool every day and our son enjoyed the table tennis and table football. The location is perfect for exploring Valkenburg and we will definitely be back!

The apartments on the top floors have two sofa beds that function as sofa/chairs during the day, so making the beds every evening is a bit of work.

A charming family-run apartment hotel. Very friendly owners. Convenient location, close to the town centre. Nice to have a kitchenette and balcony. The indoor swimming pool is great.

It was great, I wouldn't change it.

Fantastic location, super friendly hosts and great room . It is peaceful and quiet but once you walk through the front you are right in the town centre. I have stayed in Valkenburg any times before and this is by far the best place I've stayed at. I will certainly stay here in future. Free bikes too and private parking

The pool is quite cold, unfortunately. Also (not the hotel's fault tho), there is a church just next to the hotel whose bells ring every half hour, even in the night, so if you are a light sleeper make sure to pack some strong earplugs!

The studio apartment is great, very clean, cosy and with everything you might need for your stay! The bed and the couch are comfy, linings are cleancand abundant, the bathroom has a great shower and the kitchen is fully equipped. Plus just outside the door you have a table in front of the pool, where you can have lunch/snacks. The pool ia a great plus. Theo and his family are very welcoming and friendly, they made sure we had everything we needed for our young baby and us and made us feel at home!

all was good we loved it.

the location is perfect, swimming pool is nice kids that can swim can enjoy it. it also big enough for grownups. the rooms a nice for the stay and you get fully equipped kitchen. there were also some swings for kids that were very nice and you can get bike to go around if you want for free that’s really nice.

Wi-Fi could be better luckily I had enough data on my mobile phone. I had to pay €8 for new bed sheets after 5 days as I was expected to use it for a week but I did understand they were all dry cleaned and come in a sealed bag which was a plus.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
