The location and the restaurant!

The breakfast was somewhat expensive and you might find it to be a bit of a challenge to access the surrounding area without a car.

The staff was very friendly and professional. Facilities where very well maintained and everything felt quite new. The hotel has a good restaurant and nice views from all over the premise.

Choose the river room for the view but would request upper floor room next time. Our room was half underground and if you sat down you could not see out the window. Upper floors have larger windows. Weather was TOO nice so we didn’t stay much in the hotel, which was too bad as public areas were even nicer than room.

Truly beautiful location for hotel looking out on the river. Room was very nice and bed was great. Restaurant was superb! Only planned on eating there one of our three nights but went back for second time as even though pricy was worlds better then local restaurants. Good storage for our bikes.

It would be nice if the accommodation had a small café or low-key restaurant. Sometimes you do not want a huge breakfast (when a croissant and coffee would do) or a four-course surprise menu (if you are in the mood for a salad).

The staff, reception. Trying to make it work for us and they did. Sauna included, which was nice (other then fletcher where you have tompay extra for it…). And late checkout without hassle. Secure bike storage, good beds, coffee in the hallway, fabulous restaurant. All in all, very hood and top-notch staff.

The hotel is expensive, while the restaurant on site is expensive even more. There was no refrigerator in the room. Thogh the our room had a laminate floor (I hate carpeted floors), there was a carpet under the bed (why? who needs it?). For sure, that carpet isn't vacuumed properly and we noted this. The shower, though surrounded by a glass cabin, has one side partially open, and taking shower always finished in a paddle on the bathroom floor, outside the shower.

The hotel itself is a prestigious resort situated on the bank of the Vechte river, in a quiet and pastoral place. You could reach many interesting places to visit in a half-an hour or an hour of driving.

we didn’t know how much our dinner was going to cost. however, the food was fantastic and so was the setting on the Terrasse, we didn’t mind! the breakfast was delicious too!

The rooms are not very spacious and on the higher price side.

Everything was great.

It is an amazing place for vacation. Surroundings and nature around the hotel are breathtaking. Very nice and cosy room and large bathroom. Breakfast was great, wide selection of food. Stuff was very nice. I recommend this place for vacation.

The first room we had booked did not have air-conditioning, so we paid for the more expensive loft room. It is a bit strange that only certain rooms offer this. The restaurant was closed on Sundays.

The loft rooms are spacious and have very good air-conditioning (the others don't, so check when you book!). The bathrooms are nice with good showers. Also, there is an indoor space to store your bike with charging options for e-bikes. The breakfast was very nice with excellent bread and of course the terrace by the water.

The room and bathroom were specious and the beds very comfortable. The staff were very nice. Breakfast was good but this is also what you expect for the price you pay for it.
