To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Absolutely loved everything about the property! It was my fiest time travelling alone and I was so happy with my choice. The staff made me feel very comfortable and safe. Everything was clean, calm and relaxing. Really enjoyed the welcome drink as well and all the other options (gaming, the bar etc.). Would come back again!

The hotel is very near the station and there are a lot of restaurants and stores around. Also, the hotel had a coffee machine in the lobby to use for free. The room was confortable and clean.

That's one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at so far. The staff is really friendly: they explain everything we need to know without asking too many unnecessary questions. They are always ready to help with anything we might need, and there is nothing else to say, really, except how friendly and helpful the staff is. The room is just what we expected: spacious, clean, and with all the necessary amenities. The location is perfect, as we arrived by train and the main train station is only 5-7 minutes away from the hotel. In addition, the hotel offers pizza delivery 24/7, which was delicious. At the bar, we could grab a free tee while we waited for transport. On the day we were leaving, we had to wait for our train for 3 hours, but it was nice to spend time at the hotel while we waited. There is also a free toilet next to the reception for guests who need to wait for their next transport, like us, if we need it.
