Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

North MacedoniaEverything was ok. The room was not huge but ok. As the structure does not grant a parking place, not even booking it, we booked in advance a parking in Q-Park Torengarage for 20€ a day which is 7min walk. If you want to have breakfast in the morning better to include it in the reservation or to organize buying at supermarket as in the morning most bars open around 9-10:00
The hotel is in the very center of Den Haag, the room was clean and comfortable with a main bed and a sofa bed for our children. The room had new and very good quality furniture. There was a small toilet and a bathroom (this second with no WC). The breakfast was not included, so we cannot comment on it.

NorwayThe breakfast was very good, but a bit on the expensive side for us who are light eaters. A big plus though, that children may attend for free, which does that it evens out a bit if you bring kids :-)
Great location (best coffee house Hop & Stork just across from the hotel. Hotel with direct access to the passage, great for rainy days). Nice and helpful staff. We loved the water bottles with unlimited free water supply, so we didn't have to run to the shop all the time for water. Bike rental at decent price (Euro 12 for 3 hrs).

MaltaFour star hotel but no fridge? I would expect a fridge in the room as a minimum in a 4 star hotel, or at least have the option to have one. No clothes iron included in the room either.
The location was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Check in and check out was seamless.

NetherlandsUpon arrival, we’ve been informed that we could not park at the hotel’s private parking because our car is (self charging) hybrid. Double bed is actually only 140 cm wide so too small for 2 adults in my opinion.
Perfectly situated in the center of The Hague, near the shops and restaurants. Good breakfast with lots of choice in cozy restaurant.

GermanyThe room was a bit small, we had one extra bed for our 12 year old kid and with that, there was quite limited space to move. The car park was not possible to use, if you have an electric or hybrid car, this I did not know before.
Great location at the center of the city, breakfast meeting expectations from a city hotel, nice and friendly staff and a nice bar to enjoy some drinks. Decoration and furniture are new and modern. We quote enjoyed staying there.

IrelandLight in the toilet is too strong, and there is no possibility to make it softer what is almost painful when one enters the toilet during a night. The doors on the bathroom are double with the gap between and glass on them. When one turns light up in there, the entire room is illuminated, which is annoying during a night.
The location is great. Everything looks amazing, stuff are very welcome, and it is great value for money.
