The hotel was great. A great use of space, the bed was really comfortable, the location was amazing. Tucked away next to the canal near the centre but really quiet. We went to a concert at De Helling and it was only a 10 minute walk. As there was no one booked in for the following night they were very kind and let us have a late checkout for as late as we needed it.

We loved the place!

This is such an amazing location! I had friends and family who couldn't believe this place. The location was perfect and close to everything we wanted to see. The place was clean and had every amenity that we would need. The bench outside was nice to sit on in the evening and watch the canal. I would for sure live here again!

Hotel Oudegracht was the 4th hotel we stayed in on our recent trip to The Netherlands, and by far the best one! Bert was the perfect host - super friendly, helpful and even arranged for our laundry to be done for a very small fee. The hotel is in a quite, cozy part of Utrecht with stunning views of the canal. The room has everything you need and more - from slippers, toiletries, wine, beverages, umbrellas to borrow, information on the area and even an adjustable bed! Top notch hotel - we will be back soon.

Can't think of a thing!

The location right on rhe canal was amazing and so unique! The room itself was cozy, quirky and perfect the city itself was quaint and romantic Bert was a wonderful host. The complementary wine and beer upon arrival was a great touch and he was super jolly; made recommendations for places to eat and places to see. I felt he really wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Over all, an amazing experience! I miss it already!

Great location at Oudegracht, quiet yet smack in the city centre. Very nicely done room, great atmosphere. You see the boats passing by, you can sit outside. A really special place. Very nice and accessible host, too. I could easily have stayed here much longer.

I have no complaints and there was nothing that I did not like. I liked everything.

I really cannot think of a better location. The location is a 10. Centrally located, close to the central train station and smaller train station. Close to bars, restaurants, shopping - literally the center of everything. I liked everything about this hotel. It felt more like I rented an apartment. The room was located right on the canal with a breathtaking view, literally canal front. I found myself enjoying sitting out on the terrace there and watching the boats go by, sipping a glass of wine. This was what I liked best about the room. The room also came with a fully furnished kitchenette and even some beverages in the refrigerator, which was a very nice touch. I also enjoyed using the Bluetooth stereo because I was able to play my playlist on my device. I found myself enjoying the late evenings playing music, enjoying the canal front and a glass of wine. I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend the evenings. I really liked the shower. It came equipped with a rain shower, which was amazing and the toiletries provided were incredible. The bed was comfortable and plush. I also enjoyed a private boat tour of Utrecht as well through the hotel. With great information, a tasty cappuccino and the best photo ops, this was also a great way to explore Utrecht.

Nothing really

Top location, not downtown but still quite central. Restaurants, supermarket and shops close by. Perfect for walks along the Oudegracht. The accomodation is new and was presented perfectly. Good lighting system. Some wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks were provided. Also enough coffee and tea :) The owner waited for us at the accommodation and offered help also later, during our stay. Communication regarding arrival and check-in time was also nice. There’s a bench in front and you can take two comfy chairs to sit right in front at the Oudegracht.

We we're greeted by the very friendly owner of the Hotel. We we're a bit late but he waited infront of the Hotel and greeted us very warmhearthed . He gave us suggestions what to do in Utrecht and those really Made us enjoy our stay even more. The room was very Clean, modern and stylish and the whole ambiance with the Canal in Front of the room was more then breathtaking. We Had a Set of outside furniture in the Room, that we used to dine outside and have our breakfast in the sun infront of our room. I dont really get the comments, stating that the room was loud. We didnt really hear outside noises, and we personally enjoyed it, when a Car drove near above our room, because it sounded Like Thunder far away in the distance. (kinda helped sleeping to be honest). We will come back in the future, and by know its already one of the Most Beautiful vacation experiances we ever Had. + Drinks in the Prince included?! We started our First evening drinking Pina Colada that we could make with the drinks available for free in the fridge, with even icecubes ready for the taking. We enjoyed glasses of whine (Red and white availabel) and there would habe been enough of everything to get us through every evening. What else to say but try a stay here. Its Worth it.
