The property is very close to the tram stop, the beach is right next to it and there are some cafes nearby as well. It was really easy to check in and use the electronic keys, the one person room is quite small, but I was pleasantly surprised how good the facilities were, including coffee, tea, kettle, so it had everything one might need and even more! And of course the friendly staff - my contact with the employees was great, I really appreciated their help!

Bathroom was small but still functional and nice to have a private bathroom rather than shared. The pipe at the back of the toilet/sink did leak into the floor though. The window was very heavy to open and close.

Very close to tram stops so was easy to get around. Short walk to the beach or a short tram to The Hague centre. The digital key was easy to use to access the building and room. Property and room was probably a bit nicer than the pictures actually, maybe new carpet.

I was always stressed out with my cellphone autonomy. And if it was at the end of the month I would be also because of internet package still with data... Only one power socket available. The kettle with low power and short power cord.

In general quite an old building, if another guest upstairs is walking, you can hear it very well. Sound Isolation non existent, take this into account if you must sleep well

There was a family above me who had kids running around all the time, starting even before 7:00, which made sleeping impossible once they started doing it.

I booked a single room, but got a bigger room instead - I think I got upgraded. This was really nice. I really liked the contact-less check-in and never had to see a single person, which is perfect for introverts. Also "Unlimited" Towels and simple ammendenties.

A bit hot, like everywhere in the Netherlands in September... we got a fan, but that was not suffiecient. Couldn´t open the window.

The stairs case was a bit scary and a small fridge would have done wonders.

The fact that the place is located in a central and buzzing area is top. Getting into your room after office hours when the hotel is not staffed is a breeze.

Windows not sound proof and therefore woken up at 6 am by seagulls. Doors also quite light. Noisy people in the hallway can be annoying. How about some "silence please" signs like "Premier Inn" does it in their hotels? Very steep stairs, even for Dutch standards. Should be made known at the time of reservation. Elderly, disabled and people with heavy baggage may face a challenge. Building still carries the former Hotel Name "Bella Vista" which can be confusing at first.
