Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We experienced no negative issues and overall, we were satisfied.
The staff greeted us with a smile and the check-in and check-out process was quickly completed. The hotel's central location provided easy access to local attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Overall, we were satisfied.

firstly, the worst experience regarding the payment process; they charged my card 50 % more in the day when I arrived; after that, they processed 9 times my card until the right payment. Secondly, being the third so-called five star hotel this year, I clearly consider it not worth the stars.

The only complaint is that there wasn’t enough towels in the room and the remote control was missing. However the staff fixed all of this with In 20 minutes
Location was amazing and the staff were super helpful and friendly.

Quality of jam at breakfast. Terrible.
Breakfast was a pleasure. Very courteous reception at the restaurant by all staff we encountered. Restaurant was well run, quiet and elegant, comfortable seating., not cramped. Chairs were well kept and clean and the service excellent as well as choices were very generous. Food was of good quality and nicely served. Fast and efficient. Only thing we did not like much were the big bottles of awful tasting Jam / Konfitüre. Chemical taste. Just not palatable. The Bar area downstairs was also very well organised and well run. Food good. The little shop downstairs is a great idea and practical.

The design of the bathroom is not good from my perspective due to my past travel experience. There is no handheld type shower head and the hot water will directly come the top. It is not good. And the door of wet and dry design is terrible. The water inside the door will come out when I open the door and especially the door is near the door of the bathroom. I have to dry them up in case of the water coming out to the carpet near the room.
The location, staff are nice and the facilities are versatile. Price is affordable with this quality.

The fact that in the room was offered instant coffee instead of real coffee pods.
The location is great. We enjoyed the breakfast and the fact that you could order different type of eggs and pancakes was great. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast area is rather small. It can lead to waiting time if you come during peak hours.
Excellent location. Just opposite the central station. Easy to commute either by walk to city center or trams and metro is available to go further. Found the area just outside Central Station quite safe which is not a norm in other European cities. Excellent staff service at the time of check in. Special mention to Niya who made us feel very comfortable. She helped with the nearest restaurants and also gave an insight with the usage of public transport. She complied with our request for a higher floor. Thank you Niya. Breakfast was a standard affair. You will find the usual ones at the counter. But one unquiet aspect was they had a good spread of eggs which was make to order, waffles, pan cakes. All of these were made fresh and served on table instead of keeping it on the counter. That was a good concept. We can choose from the menu that was printed on the paper mat on the table. We were there during the tennis tournament week. Managed to see a few of tge players during breakfast which was a bonus.
