Sadly, we did not have any hot water in the shower and the walls were quite thin so you could hear when other people were entering the place and/or leaving. But overall the people were very respectful so once they entered their rooms it was very quiet.

The hotel in general is nice value for the price. It's quite cheap and central in the city so it's great for a quick stay. The staff is also very nice and understanding.

Typical Dutch staircase up to the rooms which is very steep and difficult to negotiate with large suitcases. In fairness, the hotel does point out this fact in their literature

I was there for work so the location for me was perfect. The hotel is clean and staff are friendly but I wasn't there long enough to make a full description of facilities.

When checking in the staff did not inform us of the coffee machine in the hallway, sadly. The slippery floor in the shower was a concern. For some people the steep stairway and lack of a lift is a negative.

For one night the room was adequate. A safety issue that concerned me was the slippery shower floor and no available anti-slip mat. The breakfast was good but overpriced, there are many options outside of the hotel to eat and have coffee.

Stairs were a bit steep, you had to use them carefully. Floor in the room was uneven in one side of the room.

Since the hotel and the coffee shop belong together we did not understand why the coffee was the worst we ever got. The breakfast was good for a morning snack but not more.

Close to the beach and to the city. Still not to crowed so sleeping is possible. We asked for a quiet room and got it. Thanks a lot.

Heating has insufficient capacity (hence cold at night); shower has low water pressure. Booking.com mentioned cancellation would cost first night only but e-mail from hotel stated whole stay not refundable (...) — but we didn't have to cancel.

The carpet was so dirty, the room constantly smelled of sweaty feet. no matter how often you ventilated. It was like that from the moment we arrived until we left. My ring slipped behind a broken wooden bar next to the bed. There was no way for me to take it out again. I told this to the lady I gave the key to on the day of departure. She just said she would look but couldn't promise anything, even though I had offered to cover the cost of sending the ring. All you had to do was unscrew the bar.
