Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It is outside of the centre, you need a bike or a car. By bike to the city center is 10 min. Sofa was old.
You can rent a nice bike in the hotel, 15 Euro day. It is a calm area, a lot of nature closeby. The room is big, tee, coffie.

The restaurant in the hotel was a separate organisation but there was really no option in the locality except for McDonalds! The experience there was pretty bad. Tatty surroundings and very low quality overpriced Chinese food. Not the hotels problem but it influences the overall view.
Hotel was good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location poor but walkable to town centre.

Chipped scratch furniture in room. High shower bath.
Lack of variety for breakfast. No non sugared cereals, more cheese variety and better tasting cheese, no fresh salad vegetables like cucumber ot tomatoes and more variety fresh fruit.

The location was not what we expected - it is far from center, and you cannot walk so far. Moreover, it is separated by highway from the center.

the position is not the best if you do not have a car, no restaurants nearby... it is a nice walk to the city center, but it is a bit far

There were no towels in the room when we arrived. When I called to request them and (after about 15-20min) someone arrived to deliver some towels, they wanted to check that were no towels and also seemed confused about how many towels we should get, what sizes, etc. The furniture was also not in a perfect condition, with some small but visible scratches in several places. Overall it was ok, but not great.
The price was relatively low, and there was free parking. Can walk to the center of Delft in about 30 min.

The reception was so dirty we were scared for our stay. Terrible first impression. The glass meeds some real cleaning.
Room service was excellent, oportunity to order in great, the room and bathroom were clean and nicely furnitured.

No real negative points although restaurant closed early.
Good sized rooms, bed comfortable and hotel quiet. Bathroom seemed to have underfloor heating and was clean. Breakfast was good.

First night noisy neighbours kept us up most of the night. The receptionist suggested we should have let him know, which is nice, but from experience noisy guests quickly forget and just continue being antisocial. The receptionist kindly offered us another room but luckily the second night the noisy neighbors had checked out.
The staff were very friendly.

Overall not bad but very noisy hotel , with poor sound isolation + we had bad luck that day and at night fire alarm went on and everybody had to go downstairs

The apparatus is a bit old
High cost-value ratio. Nice staff. Not complicated to take bus 60 for Delft and tram 1 for The Hague. Good Chinese restaurant in the town.

Nothing to actually dislike. The furniture in the room was a bit worn. The building was showing its age but this wasn’t a problem for us.
The room was large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was plentiful. The location to public transport into Delft was close by. Parking was plentiful.

Bit dated, but on balance ok.
Easy to find, convenient for the city, good parking. Friendly, efficient staff, rooms were a bit dated, if comfortable. Bath side was quite high for a step up into the bath/shower. Breakfast was ok.
