The bed, especially upper one is too low for me. Just above my head is ceiling.

The rooms are compact and just right for me. No useless space. Every bed is facilitated just right: electric socket, bed lamp, and small rack for your things. The new for me is every bed has sliding door for private.

I've never seen dorms like the one I stayed in! Large stairs to reach the top bunks, 3 plugs, an integrated shelf, and a towel provided! Best dorm I've stayed in! And I'd never seen a double-bed bunk (I was staying myself in a single-bed)! The staff was helpful. Free coffee was available in the morning. And a few minutes-walk only from/to the train station. I was overall very, very impressed by the quality ofthe servicev at Sparks! 😊

The kitchen is excellent. All sorts of equipment and a large guest fridge. A lot of free ingredient to use in cooking. Great for budget traveler. Free coffee

Great hostel. There is a kitchen guests can use to cook, a space to store the luggages and rooms are spacious with lockers. The location is near museums, Rotterdam Centraal and Chinatown. Staff are amazing 🤩

The wash basin area has dust and mold stains.

Each bed has a partition, gives you a feeling of privacy when sleeping. The hostel provides towels for free. and there is a luggage storage space for each guest. The bathroom and shower room are clean. The location is very good. It's near the central station so it's easy to travel to various places. There are restaurants of many different nationalities around, but no local food.

This hostel was fantastic. The staff were nice upon check in, providing lots of local recommendations. The kitchen facilities were great for cooking and was social in the evenings. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom also very nice. Would definitely stay here again. Easy location to get to train station.

The toilet is inside the room so it can get very loud even at night as people slam the door to open/close it.

This is such an excellent hostel, unbeatable in terms of location (straight from Rotterdam Centraal and right next to ChinaTown) and the beds even in 8 bed dorms have a lot of privacy. I love that they have an elevator for heavier suitcases if needed or perhaps for wheelchairs too. The rooms have good showers and toilets - and come equipped with a towel and spacious storage that also has charging ports inside of it! The staff is also very friendly and welcoming, which really makes the experience so much better. Overall, I had a very good stay and would definitely recommend to anyone.

A toilet in the corridor would be helpful when the dorm ensuite is being occupied. Not an easy fix but something to consider if you have to do a renovation sometime.

One of the best hostels ever! Towels and luggage storage included in the bed price. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Dorm windows can be opened for fresh air! Bed facilities with individual light and power point, privacy screen and female dorm ensuite for 6 people all worked well. This is not a party hostel. Woohoo! Kitchen facilities are A1, as is the system for labelling and storing food. Plenty of nice spaces downstairs to find spots to read, ponder, chat. Only 1 block from the main train station. I've been recommending this hostel since I left. Well done, Sparks! You've got the right formula going on. Keep it up!

The bathrooms in our dorm were not well cleaned daily. Many people left behind underwear/socks and clothing just lying around for days and not removed. Floors in dorm needs more daily cleaning.
