The stairs were steep and narrow and a little difficult with a bag but they had a porter.

The staff. We arrived on the King’s Day public holiday with crowded streets making it difficult to get a booking for dinner , or even to get out the door. Not normally serving dinner they gave us a great dinner.

Bedside tables were annoying. So low so you couldn't use the lights for reading. They were made of ceramic(?) and they were noisy to use and not flat on top so things tended to roll/wobble a little.

Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Although it was continental there was a good choice. We were well looked after and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The room was very quiet and it was good to have a kettle and fridge. Shower was exceptionally good.

Breakfast menu was very good and easy to understand. Staff were very helpful and of course spoke excellent English. We arrived very late due to flight delay but the Manager was still on hand to meet us way past normal check in time. We were also able to leave luggage on the final day after check out until we left for the airport.

Like many of the hotels located in the old houses, the stairs are narrow and high. There is no elevator so if you are disabled or have a lot of luggage it may not be convenient for you.

Good location, clean and comfortable room, nice view of the canal. Breakfast included was fine.

Note the stairs are steep and it's a funky building but most places in Amsterdam in the Jordan are.

They had a lovely little breakfast each morning and the rooms have character and a wonderful location! If you want a boutique style hotel this is an excellent option.

The property is stunning! Each room individually decorated with great taste and flair! We had a room overlooking the canal at the very top of the property - just perfect! Although there isn’t a lift, our host very kindly took our bags up! The breakfast was gorgeous in the tearoom downstairs, which the hosts also own. It was delightfully presented with plenty of choice - a great start to the day! The location is perfect - not far from Anne Frank Museum and a stones throw away from great cafes and restaurants by the side of the canal. You can also book your canal boat trip too! The designer, boutique shopping area is very close by - a short 5 minute walk. We cannot recommend this beautiful boutique hotel enough. The hosts were so friendly, attentive and full of great advice on where to visit.

Fabulous small boutique hotel on a quiet canal in easy walking distance of all of the sights. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and let us stow our luggage when we arrived hours before check-in time. The tearoom where breakfast is served is beautifully appointed, as was our canal-facing room.

Wifi was fairly spotty in our room. The towels didn’t always smell clean.

The only disadvantage is that it doesn’t have a parking place but it is difficult considering the location, still they explained and offered good places for parking.

The location of the hotel was perfect. The staff was very helpful, professional and friendly. The family room was maybe the most beautiful room I have ever seen. It had everything from mini fridge to kettle and coffee machine and the bathroom was spotless. They provided all the amenities like crib and high chair so that was an easy stay with our baby. The breakfast was very rich and delicious. We will definitely come again, thank you for everything!

Lovely staff and generous continental breakfast. The location was perfect - a quiet canal street, close to lots of excellent cafés, restaurants and shops, and easy walking distance to most of the main sights and museums. The hotel was quiet and cozy with plenty of space in our room to store things. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely book again!

What matters the most with a European room is location, the bed and the shower for the value. In addition to knocking that out of the park, the breakfast, service and overall quaint factor makes the T special. The Wifi needs to be better and with no elevator and steep stairs, it’s not for the disabled. The location a block and a half from the Anne Frank house is just right
