Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

the Airco was set too cold, and no way we could change it in a warmer position.
the location is amazing, with a glorious view of the beach. The hotel is in a quite area, so good sleeps at night.

Excellent location on Bulabog beach. The hotel has also a kite school and rental service. Very tidy. Rooms are spacious and nicely arranged. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

I can't find things I didn't like about this properly. I wish I could stay longer with them. They make you feel so welcomed, and home away from home.
There are hundreds of things we love about this place, but the most loved for us is the staff at Aissatou... From the owner of the property - Aissa, to everyone working there. They are such a lovely human being! We can't thank them enough to make our stay a memorable one. We had read reviews after reviews about this wonderful place before we decided to book with them. Now, we can confirm that the reviews that guests who stayed at this place wrote about the place are all TRUE. I don't need to write anymore reviews of how wonderful this place is. This place is a little secret gem that people need to know about. Oh! You must try the food offered at the restaurant especially the local dish Sizzling Sisig. They also offer other international dishes at reasonable price. My partner was spending time working while he was there, and WIFI at this place did not let him down. He managed to have TEAM meeting via phone and internet without any troubles. Thank you everyone at Aissatou, especially Aissa, Joyce, and Babi. We truly had a very pleasant stay at the resort. Sending love to all of you from Australia, I promise I will go back there again.

Bed and pillows were not the most comfortable. Sorry that the penthouse had neither an unobstructed view of the water nor any private outdoor space like a balcony.
Loved the location on the quiet side of the island. Stayed in the penthouse which had a well equipped kitchen, excellent fridge.

Very hard bed - we got used to it but it was hard on the hips! Aircon wasn't very strong so we ended up leaving on a lot which wasn't very good for the environment. No free water provided in the room so we ended up buying a lot of water which meant lots of plastic.
Located on the 'quiet' side of the island is was a lovely place to explore from, and it was a short walk to the busy D'Mall and White Beach (which was better for swimming). The staff especially Joy were great. The price of food and accommodation were very reasonable.

The food is not too bad but maybe little overpriced, when comparing to other places nearby (specially breakfast).
Clean rooms and very friendly staff! WIFI speed and quality was excellent in my rooms and that enabled me to do also some TEAMS meetings etc.

It is located right at the kitesurfing beach and the hotel has its own kite shop as well. So it is a perfect place to stay for a kitesurfing holiday. Then penthouse suite is unique, spacey with good view of the beach. The staff are all very friendly. The surrounding area is clean and safe with security guards near by. This side of the island is relatively quiet but is just a short walk to the busy White Beach tourist area to enjoy the night life there.

I didn't like it that i had to leave🤣
The atmosphere at Aissatou is just exceptional! Beautiful big rooms with a lot of light, amazing hanging out area downstairs to chill, have a drink and delicious food and of course the kite beach right in front of the hotel. Beach boys will prepare you kite and lines (uufff, so easy to get spoiled 🤭)! Very kind hosts will organize a star from the sky if needed! Loved the place

The room wasn't really ocean view. It faces the ocean but is blocked by trees.

Location wasn’t the best. A bit far but if you don’t mind walking about 15mins it’s fine
Great facilities- shower was really good, hot and cold setting. Bed was comfy, nice clean/well decorated room. Staff were lovely and helped us with everything we needed. Always there aswell
