I have no complaints about the resort so far. In short, it feels like home during our stay

The staff welcomed us warmly, and the place itself is nice, quiet, and boasts a beautiful view of the beach. The staff are extremely helpful with arranging tours and surfing lessons. Miss Lyn at the front desk, along with others like Jade, Eva,Ivy,Jonah,Ejie,Yuri and my surf instructor Nick, work seamlessly as a team to organize all of our needs, and they make sure that we feel comfortable during our stay

Very small air conditioner for the size of the room. Low voltage was common so the air conditioner would shut down some times. It was so hard to get the room cool after that. Did not feel the temperature was comfortable in the room until late in the evening.

The owner was very helpful the room was spacious and very nice. Good food in the reataurant. the beach was great for novice surfers and lots of instructors right at the resort for lessons.

My only suggestion would be to have a better air conditioner, and offer mosquito netting for the bed so that if desired could open the doors for the sea breeze.

The oceanfront cabins are just perfect. Beautiful, simple interior with attention to detail. A beachside patio with ample furniture, table, chairs, swing seat, long chair and hammock. Beautiful breeze and shade! Great place to relax and read a book. The staff, especially Lynn, is so kind and helpful. We had an incident with a sea urchin and she helped us procure a jug of vinegar and other items we needed to deal with the mishap. The cabin is located in front of the beginner surf break so easy access or good viewpoint to watch. The area has lots of really good places to eat within a 10 min walk. And bring water shoes!

Everything was perfect

I can’t recommend this place enough. One of the nicest places we have stayed in the Philippines. Our beach front cottage was fabulous. A stunning view and the cottage was total luxury. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was powerful and hot. There were lots Of special little touches that puts this resort way above others. We had an endless supply of chilled fresh drinking water refilled every day. We had a kettle with unlimited tea and coffees In our room and a fridge to keep everything cool. The aircon and fan worked perfectly to keep our cottage nice and cool. The hospitality of the owners MJ and George is outstanding, george is very helpful and informative recommending the local beautiful sights to visit on motorbikes they can rent you. It’s very close to the best swimming beach on the Island and only waterfall on the island. The staff are wonderful, always happy and smiling and the place is spotless. It’s a perfect spot for those wishing to learn to surf or just watch the experts riding the waves. It’s a total paradise and delightfully relaxing compared to busy GL We will definitely be coming back any time we are visiting Siargao.

One of my favorite hotels in Philippines! Room is very clean, spacious and well equipped (kettle, coffee, tea, water refill, fridge), staff is kind and helpful (they support in organizing surfing class or motorbike rental), location on the beach is priceless (however you need a motorbike to move around). I'd stay there again

The location of my bungalow with direct access to the beach was amazing. The grounds are beautifully kept and the whole vibe is friendly and relaxed. The staff are so friendly and so helpful with any request. This was before my flight back to Manila was cancelled. I contacted George who found me a booking and then came to the airport and picked me up! Above and beyond. Could not recommend this place enough. I will be back.

Booked a pick up from the port, but then the car was not available because of an island tour. On hot days you have to switch on your aircon early if you want to sleep. AC mainly produces noise and is not cooling a lot. There is no door to the bathroom, so also the bathroom has to be cooled by the small AC

I think it is one of the best options to stay in Pacifico. The bungalow was nice but it was behind the beach road. Lot of options to relax on the terrace. The restaurant was good.

Awesome location by the beach in Pacifico. If you can get the beach front, get that, else you'll also be happy with the garden view rooms. The rooms are spacious and has the amenities you would need for your island adventure.

When it rained, terrace facilities got wet and can't be used anymore.

The location was perfect! It's located in a small barangay called Pacifico not too far from the airport, but fairly far from the island's main city of General Luna. The two beach cottages are located right on the beach, where you can take surfing lessons.

The entire cottage has no doors inside, so little privacy if you're in the bathroom. Also, the door and window can't be fully closed, so the airco has a hard time getting the room chilled.

We liked the well built cottage, with nice bed and shower, and the green plants on the terrain. Also, waking up and walking into the gorgeous beach is incredibly beautiful. Also, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and they make a great mango curry!

We recently wrapped up our trip to the Philippines with a stay at Bamboo Surf Beach, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. It struck the ideal balance - not overly crowded, yet with enough nearby restaurants and shops to ensure a pleasant stay. Surrounded by stunning beaches and offering the perfect starting point for scooter rides around the island, Bamboo Surf Beach provided us with an authentic and serene experience. Our room was very comfortable and clean, with a great bathroom and all the necessary equipment provided. Wonderful attention to detail - decorations, flowers, pillows, drinking water for brushing teeth near the sink. The well-maintained garden added a touch of natural beauty, and we appreciated the diverse seating options on our porch - from a comfortable sunbed to cozy chairs and a swing chair. A special mention goes to our host, George, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. When our flight from Siargao was unexpectedly canceled, leading to a missed connection back to Europe, George displayed exceptional kindness. Without hesitation, he offered us an extra night's accommodation for free and upgraded us to a room with a sea view, turning a challenging situation into a memorable experience. His warmth and generosity were truly heartwarming and very much appreciated. In conclusion, Bamboo Surf Beach exceeded our expectations in every way. The perfect blend of comfort, charm, and exceptional hospitality, this resort stands out as a true gem. Everything was perfect and couldn’t have been better!

Bamboo was so amazing. I traveled with my wife and small one year old daughter from Hawaii. The staff were so kind and accommodating. The rooms were very beautiful and stay cool during the hot days. Shower and bathroom were a dream, and the beds were extremely comfy. The staff provided all the amenities you would need plus more! Our accommodations were extremely close to the beach, surf rentals, and shops. The restaurant provided amazing food and drinks as well. I’m a regular visitor to siargao and I will not be staying anywhere else, this is my permanent home away from home thank you everyone at bamboo for giving my family an amazing experience!
