Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandDown a local side street, all friendly and had no issues. Duvet was not big enough for the bed. Shower pressure was poor.
Clean and comfortable hotel. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Bed comfortable and friendly staff. Good for a short stay.

New ZealandNeither of these things reduced our stay enjoyment but could be important to others... Might have been nice to have a TV (for sleepless travellers) and for those with physical disability note there is no elevator access to upper floors so book with this in mind.
The hotel is nestled up a short back street. The walk out is a nice taste of Cebu life past a series of Sari-Sari stores with wonderfully friendly locals and is an easy walk to Ayala Centre and local eateries.

Czech RepublicThe only downside was kinda thin walls, so you could hear when there was someone in the corridor, but there wasn’t much noise going on and we slept like babies 😄
Room was clean and modern, great location close to city, the personnel was very kind. There were international electricity plugs (which seems to be pretty common in Philippines, but it’s worth a mention). Compared to other accomodations in Cebu, this was definitely the best one.

United KingdomFantastic hotel with very friendly staff. The immediate area is a bit dodgy but the hotel is a short walk from Ayala center and a 10 minute ride from the IT park. The hotel is very well maintained, everything looks still brand new. The room, the corridor, the staircase, everything is sparkling clean. Shampoo and liquid soap with a nice fragrance in the bathroom. Bed was a bit squeaky but comfy, I had to fold the pillow in half but that did the job for me. I was amazed by the quality of everything considering how little money we paid. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If I’m ever back to Cebu I know where I’ll be staying. Thank you for keeping our luggages safe after checking out.

GreeceThey asked for a deposit when we checked in, which felt quite weird as it was the first time that this happened during our 4 month trip. A photo of our passports was enough for everyone else as insurance. We gave them $20 that we got back when we checked out...

CanadaWifi in room very slow if you can even connect but you can get good Wifi in lobby and enjoy a fresh brewed coffee or instant that Filipinos seem to prefer. Street that Hotel is on very narrow and busy with scooters but is only few minutes from main road.
Great staff (Front desk, security and housekeeping) all friendly and helpful. Clean very affordable room in quiet central Cebu hotel. Ayala mall which is amazing place is close by maybe 15 min walk or short Jeepny ride. Small mall about 5 min walk right turn on main road has Starbucks, Burger King and several good restaurants.

TaiwanThe bathroom is quite small, it is not very easy to turn around in the bathroom. The shower curtain can be longer so that the water doesn't splash everywhere after shower. Wi-Fi quality is ok, sometimes it's slow, sometimes it's quite fast, it really depends on where you are in the room. The biggest problem is soundproof. One can easily hear knocking, talking, and walking outside of the room because the walls are simply not thick enough. I touched some of the walls, I think they are wooden walls rather than concrete. A pair of earplugs would help.
The location is good, Burger King, Starbucks, Jafars are only 200 meters away. The view is also nice, there is a small garden if one's room is facing the east. Staff are very friendly and helpful. One needs to ask the security to open the gate every time when entering or leaving, but that doesn't bother me.

GermanyThe hotel is surrounded by a gate that has to be open by a guard from the inside. While it is definitely a positive security aspect, it was a little inconvenient when you are entering or exiting.
