Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing. This place is amazing. It’s a rare find.
This is a diamond find and exceptional for its location, facilities, staff and rooms. The food is also superb and the pool is one of the best on the island. Rooms are clean, well equipped with fridges, TV, plenty of storage and a HUGE bed! Also the bathroom is very spacious with a large shower area too.

ItalyNice and clean room with the fantastic view, great food at the restaurant. The place is very relaxing and convenient if you want to visit Kawasan Falls. We did the canoyneering with them and can only recommend it. The guides were top and took the best care about our child.

United KingdomOn the night we stayed there was some loud music playing from a local sports event, it didn't affect our evening but would be worth considering. Otherwise very peaceful and quiet!
Such a beautiful stay at this tropical paradise! So many positives: clean rooms, beautiful rooms, large pool, amazing selection of delicious food, kind and courteous staff, wonderful massages in their private tent area looking over the beach, access to canyoneering excursions from the site itself! We would 100% recommend this as a place to explore South Cebu from!

FinlandSome electric outlets were not working and the small shelf/mirror is blocking the electrical socket so you can't use it. Strict policy, we asked if they can cut the mango for us for breakfast fruit but they dont allow.
We like the pool and tasty breakfast from the menu. Front beach resort which is great to see the sunset.

FranceWe should have stayed longer here and explore Moalboal from Cuestas.
High view over the sea from the rooms and the restaurant is impressive. You can feel the personal involvement of the owners in the design of the houses and of the resort overall - which very clean, unique paintings, excellent cuisine and of course some boats that are being personally restored. I found the quality/price impressive! Thank you for hosting us!

SingaporeThe accommodation has put thought in incorporating the local culture from the rooms’ furniture, the restaurant space, the menu and the nipa hut at the beach shore. It was a tranquil stay to look over the sunset in the evening during our stay

AustraliaNo pressure in showers, and the next door venue unfortunately had a daily event between 7 and 11 with extremely loud doof doof music.

PhilippinesWe were staying in a bamboo room with a shared bathroom and toilet. The stairs in the in the bamboo hut were steep and small, but we are small people, and it's a bit easier for us. This could be a little challenging for people with less mobility in going up and down to the room, in going to the toilet at night and when it will rain since there is no roof in accessing the toilet. The shower head has only a few functioning holes, which makes it longer to take a shower. I kept on adjusting the shower head, and I ended up using the faucet to finish up quickly.
The staff and the owners were friendly and accommodating. We didn't have the chance to taste their food (either lunch or dinner), but I it looked good. We had our breakfast thou which was included in the room booking and it was a very good value for money. The location is nice and easy to locate. It overlooked the pool and from our hut, part of the ocean. The place was comfortable and clean.

RomaniaWater pressure is very bad, if you have long hair..good luck. - drinks can be improved by just investing in an espresso machine. If you want something from the menu and the only person who knows how to make it is off that day then..you can’t have it. Maybe more staff training? Also no food available after 8pm, we asked for some bananas and they charged us 150 pesos for 3 small bananas??!! -they have canyoneering tours but for double the prices, so better check google for tours, they really are everywhere and for half the price.
Location is great, you get beautiful views from literally everywhere. The pool is huge, very clean, sunbeds also nice. There’s a small beach access where you can enter the water and swim if you want but its not great. There are sunbeds there too if you want to chill by the water. Wifi works great in the rooms. Rooms are cleaned daily, you also get a refillable water bottle which you can refill for free whenever you want. Food is good, some can be improved, like fresh fish wasn’t available at all during our stay. Just shrimp for example. Breakfast is also nice. But on some days we were not given the fruit, apparently they “forgot” but we did see it on other peoples tables. - you can rent a motorbike from them and explore the surroundings.

United KingdomThe tours at the hotel are rather expensive compared to those you can find in Moalboal and due to the hotel’s remote location you are slightly limited with alternatives. The restaurant also takes last orders at 7:30pm, rather early when there is not much else around. Having said this, Geoffrey happily made me a pizza after the kitchens were closed which was very kind of him. Bathrooms could do with an update but for the price of rooms perfectly adequate. The private beach is also not really swimable as very rocky and no sand.
What a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Good value for money and a place of tranquility in a quieter part to busy Moalboal. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel has their own canyoning guide who will take you in a private group rather than one of the busier companies and the cost for this is the same. My canyoning guide, Rey, suggested excellent travel tips for the area which was much appreciated. The rooms are clean and beds super comfortable. The restaurant has a beautiful outlook and relaxed vibe. Note, it takes about 25 minutes by tricycle to get to Moalboal if you want to explore activities there.

United KingdomWater pressure but it really didn’t cause any issues. Do note that you can’t bring in any food or drink but there’s lots of choice and it’s good value.
Welcoming staff, Beautiful gardens, deep pool which is never busy, delicious, good value and plentiful meals with lots of choice. A very lovely spacious room with a mini bar and snack selection basket. Kawasan is about a 20 min walk but you can catch the bus or a tuk tuk on the road. This was a real find and a very restful couple of days.

ChinaThe only minor things that would have made it even better are if the pool were open a little earlier (it doesn't open until 8:30 am) and if the menu at the resort's restaurant had more local cuisine choices rather than being mostly Western.
The view of the ocean and the landscaping in the resort made simply sitting on the porch of the cabin a true joy. The pool was great for swimming laps, sun bathing next to, or just unwinding after a day of hiking.

United KingdomDrinks menu was limited in spite of the rack of wine and spirits on display. Not enough sunbeds for number of guests and those available were not adjustable. Cushions vanished after day 2. TV didn't work. My new Underwater camera cable melted into the port whilst charging deeming it unusable.
Beautiful lay out of rooms all overlooking the pool and we had sea view. Loved the restaurant and the outdoor massage area. Food was delicious but chicken always breaded and fried irrespective of recipe. Staff were very helpful. Pool open till 10 so was lovely to cool off before bed.
