I’m somewhat sound sensitive, and the main resto plays music (albeit loveky music) loud enough that in my hut I realised I was, in the period after dinner, too close to the main resto….

Transfer to El Nido is quite pricey. But I guess you can make your own arrangement if you wish.

Uniquely styled huts made from natural materials! Less wind on this side of the island, the water is usually calm. Beautiful beach. Awesome 3-storey ‘treehouse’ bar/restaurant/lounging area. Best food on the island. Clean facilities and attentive staff. Highly recommend!

How hot the tent was during the day and the cost of the food, drinks and yoga. I was eaten alive by mosquitoes.

The gorgeous beach front property within a bay to keep the waves clam.

This was an absolutely stunning and unique experience. Darocotan Island is a true gem, our favorite destination in the entire Philippines. The place is magical, featuring a pristine, clean beach. The design of the bungalows, main restaurant, and common area is incredible—truly great design. The food was exceptional, the best we had in the Philippines, with fresh ingredients, fantastic chefs, and the perfect surroundings for dining. The nature-based bathrooms were a nice touch, providing good quality cosmetics. The staff was outstanding, very professional and friendly. Special greetings to Eli, Vanessa, Rafa and the chefs. The night sky is magical, adorned with countless stars. The island is car and scooter-free, allowing for peaceful walks. There are great snorkeling spots, including a shipwreck on the other side. Our stay was truly magical and unforgettable. We would have stayed longer if not for the fact that they were fully booked.

Everything was very good and smoothly organized including the transfer. Sometimes the service during meals was slow, probably some issue occurred in the kitchen because the grill. I would suggest not to propose more than one grill option in the same menu. However, food is so delicious that it was worth to wait.

The glamping went beyond the expectations. Location is a paradise, bungalow fantastic and common spaces especially toilets and showers get continuously cleaned. Atmosphere is chill, staff kind and smiley. Food, omg, amazing. Menu changes every day with multiple options for both lunch and dinner. The possibility of doing yoga is a plus of the place. Being disconnected by our phones was fantastic. I really hope to go back there other times.

Food service took a long time which for dinner was difficult because we ate late and then there was nothing to do but go to sleep which was difficult on a full stomach. The chairs I’m the eating area were very uncomfortable while we waited an hour for each meal. It would have also been nice to have some chairs, loungers on the beach. Also, for people who do t like sweet drinks, wine or beer, it would have been nice to have been able to have a mixed drink with coke. If they can deliver bottles of beer, surely they could deliver glass bottles of coke.

    Unique lodging

    Nothing, everything was great

Everything! Arriving at Dryft was an experience in itself as your boat approaches the clear turquoise waters, palm trees and kubo huts. It really felt like a surreal island experience in paradise with quiet beaches, delicious food, massages, great snorkeling, comfy huts, and really friendly staff! There was also no shortage of hammocks to lay around in 😃

Since the place has been build for foreign tourists, prices are quite higher than average, more in line with European standards. Also, waitings for food were quite long.

Breathtaking location, amazing beaches and see, good vibes, amazing activities (yoga, meditation, animal flow, massages), very relaxing (hammocks everywhere to lay down), great food, great pick up and drop off service (very kind staff). Just be kind that there is no signal in that part of the island and to find it you have to walk to the other side. Very nice if you want to digital detox. Wish we could have spent more time there!

I think it’s the shower because it’s a small island it doesn’t have enough clean water to take the shower. The water was salty for us.

We love the beach and the atmosphere at Dryft . The workers were so friendly, made us felt like at home. The food was really good.

    - They only offer one transfer per day to the mainland and the time is not very convenient, the private transfer is a bit expensive.

    - Everything at Dryft was beyond our expectations. We were prepared for 3 days of wild and humble accommodation immersed in nature with all its perks and problems. However, we did not face any of the issues that we had initially prepared for, at dryft everything was already accounted for (no heat in the rooms, no insects or mosquitos problem, shared bathrooms were beyond clean and very characteristic). - The food was amazing, we could not wait for our next meal. I would highly recommend the banana and coconut shake! - The service was also amazing, they make sure that you really relax and disconnect - They offer a wide variety of activities such as yoga, meditation, massages, snorkeling, plus you can also rent snorkeling gear and other staff directly on the island
