Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PhilippinesThe kayak and swimming area are one and the same which is really small for both and could potentially cause accidents. I'm sure this is being worked on considering that the property has not been 100% developed yet.
FOOD: Breakfast had a good array of options. Wine selection could be improved. A la carte items' availability can definitely be improved. LOCATION: perfect!

PhilippinesWish the details on how to get to the resort were a little bit more explicit. Coming from Manila, it's a 1.5 hour drive away from the airport and a 3 minute boat ride from the Jetty port. While the resort offered transportation, it was not included in the cost of our stay, and were told that due to the time of our arrival, the cost of our boat ride would also be charged separately.
We felt like we were on a private island. Food options, while limited(there were only 2 outlets), were really good with great value for money. Staff was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful staff the entire time.

United States of AmericaThere were two things that bugged me the most. The overall food quality was decent at best (both restaurants) and food service was very slow. Also, the noise from the island next to us was pretty bad at night. I know Filipinos love their karaoke (and that's cool. I dig that) but it also affected my sleep pretty much every night. I know that's hard to control but it's something worth mentioning.
The resort/island is beautiful and well maintained. The staff is extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. They ALL deserve a raise! You truly feel like you're in paradise.

United States of AmericaWe were bummed that breakfast was offered in a 4 hour slot, but it didn’t seem fresh and fruit was often picked over for the last 90 minutes of breakfast. We were also sorry to learn that the hyped up Thai restaurant was closed while we were there. Finally, we booked spa treatments, but went to the wrong place (the spa) because of a miscommunication about the spa being closed for renovations and services being relocated (no one realized it might confuse guests to move from location 21 on the map to building 21 on the other side of the property.) We ended up late to our appointment, and we simply lost that time from our treatments which wasn’t that sweet. Little things, but the details got lost sometimes which is why this is a good resort for people who are laid back and can go with the flow.
We splurged on a deal to get an ocean view villa with private pool for the week, and we were not disappointed. The villa exceeded our expectations: it felt luxurious, it was well appointed with comfortable furniture inside and out, it got great natural light, and the blackout windows ensured peaceful nights. The villa was the best part of our stay. Meals were very good, although the quality of the breakfast buffet (6am-10am) significantly dipped after 8:30am, and one of the 3 restaurants was closed during our stay. Staff were all hardworking and friendly, even though service was inconsistent throughout the week. For example, one day a staff member totally made our day by scaling a 30 foot coconut tree to bring us fresh coconuts which he opened for us. On the other hand, some days staff didn’t offer water at meals or got orders wrong on the first try. The hotel offers lots of amenities, but be sure to make detailed plans with guest services about accessing them. We learned the hard way, for example, that you can’t kayak at high tide, if you choose to snorkel there may be venomous snakes in the water, and spa services are provided in one of the resort’s hotel rooms while the spa on-sight is under renovations. Also work closely with guest services around ground transfers to and from their island, because rain storms can prevent you from getting off the island on time, and you might not get communication from staff about what’s happening in the moment. None of these quirks caused any big issues, but we were left with the impression that perhaps this lovely resort is still working on consistency and managing details. All in all, we would recommend it for travelers who are laid back and looking for luxury at a value.

United Arab EmiratesCould improve more on the staff service in the restaurants. Pay more attention to guest needs and details, not having to come over and over again confirming room numbers and orders. To ensure that food are served warm, if not hot atleast. Clearing of room service chinawares, took forever.
The welcome. We were greeted and assissted from the port all the way to our rooms. The complimentary coco juice cooled us right away on arrival at the island. The location. It's a secluded small island where we enjoyed the privacy of it all. It has activities you can opt for, other than the pool. There is also an allocated parking for your car, incase you drive. The villa room with private pool. Spacious enough with complete amenities. Comfy bed and couches. The value of what we paid for was not cheap but it should be worth the time we spent together in peace and privacy overall. Check out went smooth, too.

PhilippinesTheir beach has no waves but has a very calm and nice view.
I was really surprised on how big and how beautiful this resort is. The pictures on the fb page don't give justice on how pretty this place is. The staff are all very nice, accommodating and polite. Will greet you everytime they see you. And the food is quite good and not that expensive actually. The buffet breakfast has good selection also. The fire dancers were on another level. Really professional! But what we really enjoyed the most was the Sunset Cruise! That was the most memorable part of our visit. Thank you Dusit Thani! We will be back for sure!

PhilippinesOnly 2 minor things that you should watch out for would be the food near the pool bcoz it takes a while when you order it. Consider 45mins to 1 hr so you gotta order ahead and the beach — make sure you bring water shoes/sandals. Other than that, it was great!
I like that the carts are prompt and readily available when you call. The activities were great and my kids loved it. From billards, ping point, arcade games, ps4, darts, human chess, basketball, golf, tennis, kayak, and pool. It was just great esp the staff. They are friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThe International restaurant service was SLOW despite it not being due to the number of guests. Items ran out at breakfast and I found myself BUYING a coke because the available juice was empty. I observed staff swipe on there phone for 10 min while I waited patiently to be served in the restaurant in the evening. The staff are definitely in charge of this facility, not the management. Drink prices were unjustifiably multiples of other bars in the Philippines , coupled with slow poor service we both lost out, you in reputation and us in experience. A burger on the menu fully described all ingredients so I asked for the classic, to find it was covered in some mayonnaise based sauce inside and out. Why would I ask them for no mayo, when it is not listed as an ingredient. Perhaps Filippo's are willing to accept terrible standards as poor service is almost part of every restaurant in the Philippines and Dusit Thani have the opportunity to lead by example. I am sure other Dusit Thani hotels and resorts around the world would not tolerate poor service.
The staff were very attentive and had time to meet and exceed expectations except the International restaurant. Loved the little touches like the welcome message on the bed at arrival. Staff went out of their way to please or be helpful such as feeding the fish. The pool was nice to sit nearby or swim to cool down.
