Breakfast! Its either too salty or to bland. Fruits were not sweet, no banana in fruit area. Bfast with no banana is no bfast!. Staff were lazy. My 2nd bfast i came in at 8:45. Almost no more food at buffet i ask lazy wait staff they both said no more replenish and i shld have gone 6:30am. Fckng bs!!! How cheap for a "5star" hotel bfast. I suggest change everyone at the buffet bfast staff including chefs and wait staff.

Hotel was still under construction so restaurants and malls were not fully occupied but worth the visit.

Staff should be better informed about Sinulog; permanent water on shower floor; breakfast choices are excellent but many hot items are cold ( beef, saysages, bacon etc.).

Nice staff but often clueless to answer questions about Sinulog festival. The location to see the frdtival is ideal but not for seeing the city. Great breakfast. Casino next door if that is your thing.

I have sent couple of messages via booking.com app asking for an airport transfer (they offered info about transfers after booking). I have sent first ine 4 days before arriving, another one on arrival day. They never answered, which is very unprofessional.

Hotel is beautiful, breakfast is exceptional - it caters for every taste, I have even seen keto deserts. Comfy beds, nice personnel. The mall next to the hotel is only partially open, but SM Seaside is 5 min by taxi.

1. When we arrived at the hotel lobby entrance, nobody assisted with our luggages. The guard tried to call the bellman but no one came. 2. There are around 3 check-in counters but only 2 are functional. The check-in process takes a long time. 3. I originally booked thru booking.com for the 1st 2 nights of our stay there. Our room was deluxe city view. But I booked an extra night (3rd night) beforehand since I had a hotel voucher for deluxe seaview. I arranged for the reservation for the 3 nights around 2 weeks prior. A few day prior to check-in, I called the customer service to confirm our reservation. I also asked the CS agent if we need to check-out and check-in again on our 3rd night of stay since our room will be different. The CS agent told me that there is no need to check-in and out on the 3rd day. We will just transfer to the seaview room. However, upon check-in, we were advised by the FDO that we need to check-in and out at the front desk before we can transfer to our seaview room. 3. We left our luggage with the concierge around 2pm while we were checking in. We gave our luggage ticket to the FDO so that he can advise the concierge to bring our luggage to our room. Around 4pm, my husband called the concierge to follow-up our luggage. The concierge told him to give him the details of our luggage (# of bags) before they will bring our luggage up. Around 5pm, I went to the concierge to follow-up our luggage. That was the time the concierge was forced to bring our luggage up to our room. While entering the room, the concierge handed me my heavy luggages just near the entrance. He did not bother to place the baggage inside the room even though they were heavy. 4. I went to their lobby lounge hoping to be able to order some refreshments. However, no attendant came to me to take my orders. There was a man behind the counter who did not care at all while I was looking for someone who can assist me. I left after around 30min.

I like that there is a casino near the hotel.

It took too long waiting for the bell boy to carry our luggages to our room and same thing happen when we were checking out it took more than an hour from the time I called the concierge that we need help wirh our luggages,also checking in the staff at the counter there were 3 or 4 of them,didn't even greet us like "good afternoon or how can we help you" they just look at us and kept talking to each other,this needs to improve if you want customers to come back to your hotel or recommend your hotel to our other friends

Being rudely awakened at 4am by staff attending a maintenance request due for another room. Sorry you got the wrong room. Paying $95 for an average steak in the Italian restaurant.

Good comfortable room, nice dining options, good casino, manager gave us a free ride home to make up for some mistakes.

There is that smell of dust on the carpet along the hallway going to the rooms and also inside the room. The carpets must be cleaned all the time.

I love the breakfast buffet with its wide selection of food, one of the best that I have tried.

The rooms Weren’t ready upon arrival. Missing bath items and the request took longer to arrive. There was no separate check out counter so I you have to line up and wait for the guests checking in. Pool area are too small for a big hotel. None hotel or restaurant guests from Nustar casino can just go in and out of the Fili hotel lobby. Buffet breakfast needs more staff to facilitate the guests requests.

The rooms are clean and huge and has a nice view with good breakfast.
