Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There isn't a bidet in the bathroom, and we're still not sure why the lights keep going on and off repeatedly, as if someone was trying to frighten us.
The room is clean and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. The bathroom has shower with a heater and its a plus. We also tried to rent a bike that costs us 400 pesos for 24hours.

Room are only cleaned if you hang the cleaning sign on the door. They forgot to mention that to me. Quite important as you should dispose of used toiletpaper in the "poo bin"! Reception may be staffed from early to 22, but they might be elsewhere in the building (wasn't a problem to me though)
Location, location, location It can't be argued, that location is perfect, a few minutes from all the action, but away so you are not disturbed at all

Its not easy to get a response from the staff via Call/Text. Phone just keeps on ringing, no ones answering.
Clean, Good location, just 3-5mins walk to the beach Room is spacious, has mini fridge ang table. Bathroom is cleaned and well maintained. they provide inside slippers, which makes the whole area clean from outside dirt.

i was skeptical about runnin around barefoot in the hotel but we got used to it pretty fast
the hotel is well located near the beach and all the dive centers which was important to us. they have in the back of the hotel drying area for clothes and equipment. the staff helped us with everything we needed. and they have drinking water free in the lobby in a dispenser for cold or hot water.

Bathroom amenities need update.
Great location and walking distance from Panagsama Beach & Road where all the restaurants are located. Room is clean. Free drinking water available. There's an area to dry wet clothes. Staff are friendly. You can directly arrange transportation and activities at the hotel.

Perfect location, just a walk away from sardines and turtles! Nice and clean, staff were super helpful and we managed to hire snorkels and a scooter through them which was super easy.

Wifi was very slow but signal is very bad in the town, it would be rare to find anywhere with good wifi.
Very good hotel in the best location. It’s a really good value hotel right next to the beach. The staff were all lovely and really helpful.

We had a bit of an ant problem
Very nice rooms and facilities. Very clean. Fantastic location. Great value for your money. Reception offers transfers and most activities available in the area. Friendly staff too. Great option for budget travellers.

Shower not very good, no toiletries available for use, small bedrooms, no views from windows.
Good location close to the beach. Good air conditioning in rooms, comfortable bed however small. Parking available for your car. They had just opened a gastro bar had good breakfast options

Amenities were basic (no shampoo and a dirty water kettle) but seemed comparable to other stays in the area. Our stay was enjoyable overall and we would be happy to stay here again.
The location was great - we could walk to snorkel and dine. Helpful, friendly staff who booked us a taxi to Cebu City. Free water refills in the hall, good air conditioning, comfortable beds.

The staff is not really friendly, the deposit in cash when we arrived (not mentionned before),

Having to remove shoes wasn’t a huge issue but it would have been nice if slippers were provided. The property also seems prone to power cuts and the pillows weren’t great.

No real communal area as such but it wasn’t really needed.
Wonderful location, close enough to everything but away from the noise. The staff were always cleaning the floors. Aircon in each room. Wifi worked well.
