Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PhilippinesThe faucet in the bathroom needs repair as it leaks a lot. The scenery near the hotel is about to become a distant memory because of the various construction activities nearby.
The breakfasts at the hotel were highly varied. The service in the hotel was excellent. There is also lush greenery at the back and at the lunch and breakfast area. There is a delightful flight of dragonflies in the morning and the sound of cicadas at night. An added bonus is a library and a museum of Fillipiniana art and history which makes the stay truly worthwhile

PhilippinesWe are glad that we chose to stay here over the airbnb options. Loved that the hotel is a pet friendly place. Finally, our fur baby can tag along. A dream come true for all furparents. Our rooms were very clean and the rest of the hotel as well. It is situated in a quiet area, perfect for our R& R. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Plus a covered parking space is available. We'll be back for sure.

AustraliaRoom facilities could be improved. Sliding door kept getting misaligned and bathroom/shower a bit overworked.
Amiable and gracious staff from front desk to waiters at breakfast buffet. Special mention to the Front Desk Manager, Gerry Geraldes who led by example for her team.

PhilippinesThey collected a fee for pets whcih I think is reasonable but the rate should be lower or at least they could have provided a pee pad in the room.
They served buffet for breakfast and they have different menu everyday. True to their word, the hotel was pet friendly. We stayed after New Year, but we still felt the festive Christmas vibe. The staff was warm and very friendly. They have lawn where guest can roam around instead of just staying in their rooms.

United States of AmericaNo fault of the hotel, but the construction noise of the new hotel being built next door was a bit distracting from the serene environment.
The hotel was clean and very classy. I loved the balcony off the room and the views were spectacular. The bed was super comfortable and had high quality linens.

Grand Sierra Pines is a pet friendly, clean, and comfortable hotel. They served breakfast buffet every day and had a large garden for my pet to play in.

Saudi ArabiaThere's a current construction right across the hotel, destroying the lovely morning view of rising sun behind tall pine trees :(
This is the best hotel in Baguio that's less expensive than the hotels at Camp John Hay. It's a bit far from the city center as it is between The Mansion and Mines View Park. Meaning, it's away from the noise and crowd of the city - that is if you're looking for a quiet retreat after strolling in the city (or SM). We booked 2 bedrooms with two beds each. The beddings are good. Glad they have a smart TV with netflix, and other stuffs. The breakfast at the terrace is great. Love the morning breakfasts. You can easily get a taxi from this location but if you cant, the hotel staffs will kindly help you get one. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely book this hotel again.

Philippinessee above
Generally the facility is ok but it was not worth the price, compared to what is available in Baguio, the rate per night, the hotel facility, they could have offered more or better or higher quality amenities. Truthfully though, we did not spend much time in the hotel. Breakfast was good with appropriate choices, the room was good anded comfortable, the bathroom could be better with improved amenities (it did not even have a face towel) and the minibar was below expectations, had nothing to offer for a late night. But yes, I might try the hotel again. Thanks
