i like the overall atmosphere of the place. it gives a very chill vibe. i can stay there whole day away from the main beach. the music that they play is sooo good

They make you wear a festival type band on your wrist so staff are to know you are eligible for 15% food off at the restaurant. We ate there 4 times during our stay and each time we had to get a second bill because staff didn’t put the discount on the bill. They also put a 10% service charge on which pretty much negates any discount. (Service charge was even put on for a take away cookie and a take away ice cream) Classes run are expensive with cheap alternatives around.

Considering it is a hostel there are no common areas like a kitchen where you can reheat your leftover food (as someone who doesn't want food to be wasted. lol) since they have their restaurant inside. I also booked 2 rooms from different platforms.. my boyfriend got there earlier and despite him showing the confirmation from booking.com they gave him the room that I booked from the x platform (not that of a big mistake but still they should look into their bookings ☺️) Overall it was still a great place to stay in.

The place is excellent, the room is clean and tidy, and the bed is amazing considering the price per night.

It is one of the most beautiful Hostels I've ever been to and the staff is just outstanding Yummy middle eastern food, great drinks, some events but not a party hostel , so you'll defenitely get your sleep in It's honestly more worth it to stay there , than staying in a hotel, I've became friends with beautiful people and the comfort in the doorms extraordinary Would reccomend this hostel 100 %

Smoothie bowls are blended with ice and too watery

Honestly, the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The facilities are amazing, you could just stay in the hostel for a week. The staff are super friendly and spend time chatting to you, especially William! The beds are huge and comfy and 2 pillows!!! Food is lovely, only downfall is the smoothie bowls are watery but that is my only complaint. They have a WhatsApp group with activities every night including movie night. Can’t wait to come back

Wifi was almost non-existant inside our room; 1.000 pesos security deposit each (so 2.000 for a double room). In all other places we stayed, it was max. 1.000 pesos per room; No handsoap in the bathroom. This is just unhygienic (we asked for handsoap at reception but we're told, that it's not part of their concept). I understand, that not every Hostel/Hotel provides shampoo/showergel but providing handsoap should be in everyones intrest; No handtowel, no bath mat

Nice design of the common area and the double room (cozy lights, power plug on each site of the bed); Good AC and great water pressure; Good on-site restaurant; Good location (short walk to the beach but outside of the busy area); Friendly staff

Just the loud music, but it's fine cause the beds have divider so it helped lessen the sound.

I like everything here! Except for the loud music, but it's ok. I think it's part of making this hostel happy and it attracts a lot of tourists and a super positive vibes. 💕 If I'm going back to Boracay I'll definitely stay here again. And I met a new friend here which made my DIY trip a lot of fun!

There is music all the time during the day. Sometimes it can be a little tiring and not very convenient to have phone calls but you’ll always find a spot where the music is a little bit lower.

Great hostel for a solo traveler. Really enjoyed the location, I came for kitesurfing and Bulabog beach is really near. The staff is amazing, special thanks to William and Marjorie. The dorm rooms are really comfortable. It’s really easy to meet people there.

Think the staff who did our check-in were new. They seemed confused about which room to allocate to us, and they were talking amongst themsleves instead of explaining the situation to us, we were told to wait while our room was being prepared which didn't seem to make sense as it was past the check-in time and the room should already be ready. It was poor communication. Furthermore, after we were shown to our room, the staff member did not have a key for my locker so she told me that she will be back with a key for the locker. 20 minutes later she had not returned so I went to the reception to enquire. The staff member was at the desk chatting leisurely with her friends. When I asked about the key, she informed me that the key was lost by a previous guest so they did not have a key after all. I asked why she did not come back to the room to tell me this and just got a giggle and a blank look in response. Sigh. Anyway, I did not have a locker which I could lock for the duration of my stay. The restaurant is directly in front of the dorm rooms. The staff play loud music all day. One morning, they started blasting music at 7:00am so I got up to tell them to turn it off. And then at night, they were still blasting music at 11:30pm so I got up and asked them to turn it off.

Free drinking water. Comfy bed. 4-bed dorm with one shared bathroom worked well. They had a free movie night with free popcorn when we were there. The on-site restaurant looked nice but too expensive for us. Wifi was patchy in the dorm room, which I believe the hostel is aware of and trying to improve.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Happiness. They arranged my transfer from the airport - boat - hostal which was less hassle for me and I booked the same transfer when I was leaving. Staff are super friendly especially Christine at reception; every time you come back to the hostal from being out, the staff gives you a warm welcome. There are water stations on each floor, plenty of lounge areas to chill and great location. The hostal offers Pilates and yoga classes with great instructors and a peaceful environment. Happiness is located in a good spot where everything is walkable from this spot. Everything about the venue is modern, clean, gives good vibes and meeting other solo travellers was easy here. I loved my stay in Boracay so much that I extended.

Restaurant plays loud music until midnight, after some time you adapt to it.

Great hostel, own bar and café. Hostel guests get 25% discount on food during breakfast hours, which is really delicious. Staff are very friendly and try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Only the staff can adjust the AC, it would be great if there are floor mat for the bathroom and room to dry the floor because you cannot avoid wet floor. Nothing at all just recommendation for much comfortable stay.=)

All the staff are very friendly and helpfull, i had a wonderful stay. The place exceeded my expectation. Cafe food is good, drinks at the bar are amazing, pool is huge, room is comfortable, there are a lot of spot that you can chill.

The music could be better and they should create more events for people to meet !

The place is gorgeous it doesn't feel like you're staying in a hostel. The staff are all amazing and so so nice. It's only about a 5 min walk from the main area so location is good. The beds are spacious and room isn't hot at all because you always have the fan you can put on in your bed !

That I didn't stay longer

The staff were amazing, christine at the front desk was especially helpful as well as everyone in general in the front desk. It felt like you were always coming home no matter who you saw there. This one definitely one of the better hostels ive stayed in, and I would certainly come back ! What an international crowd and everyone was really great ! Looking forward to coming back for seconds !

I was in the top bunk which is okay but sometimes coming down felt unsafe and i hear the same problem from other people since there’s no handle to hold. When i stayed it was soft opening so i hope its been upgraded now.

The location is close to main attractions and there’s public transport everywhere. The staff were friendly and helpful! A lot of events at the hostel and great way to meet people. BINGO night should not be skipped! Swimming pool is clean. Facilities are clean. Restaurant have great food as well. You can book tours at the hostel and transport to airport.
