Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe tours offered are significantly more expensive than if you pop to the kiosk a few minutes down the road, so I would advise against booking direct through the hotel since you are on the same tour and experience the same service as those who booked at the cheaper kiosks.
What a beautiful piece of heaven. Anna and Gae have created the most tranquil space to stay with a glorious setting on the beach, overlooking the ocean, close to Cloud 9 whilst remaining away from the noise. You fall asleep to the peaceful sound of the waves and can step out from the hotel to watch sunrise on the beach. The photos on booking.com don't do the rooms justice...they are even more beautiful in person and the huge doors that slide open onto a spectacular view. The staff are lovely, so friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for anything more :)

CanadaThe only thing that we didn't like was the wifi. It wasn't working at all during some evenings, doesn't reach the bathroom, and is super slow when multiple devices are connected at once.
Everything exceeded our expectations! From the welcome, the food (breakfast and dinner menu were bomb), kindness and hospitality of the owner and staff, and the rooms. Would recommend and would come back!

United States of AmericaStaying at L’Osteria was nothing short of a great stay! The staff were all lovely, the owners Anna & Gae made us feel like a part of their family. The restaurant on site was exceptional and was the top choice for our larger group of friends (15 pax). Can’t wait to be back at L’Osteria

AustraliaAbsolutely lovely accommodation made better by amazing staff and owners. They were able to help us out with organising transfers and early check in. They even went the extra step and made us sandwiches for our early flight. The accommodation was in a central location in General Luna. The rooms were very neat and modern and had all the amenities plus more. Once again thank you to the owners. Genuine people wanting to provide a great service.

PhilippinesTwo choices of breakfast. The breakfast had a lot of pork. Hopefully they’ll have an option for seafood or non pork.

FranceThe rooms, the host and the staff were absolutely lovely! There wasn't really anything I didn't enjoy about this place. Would find it awesome though if they put a Filipino breakfast option.
Breakfast was served with a view of the ocean, high quality produce, lovely plating. It's European though. For some this might be a Bonus I would have preferred a filipino Breakfast when in Siargao. But that's just a personal preference. The owners are super friendly, as well as the staff. The rooms scream quiet luxury and you have all the comfort and high standard you could wish for without it loosing its island charm. I fell in love with the whole design and the little garden by the Beach where you can have your dinner. The atmosphere is just so welcoming and cozy. Since there are only a few rooms it also feels super private. I would definitely stay here again!

DenmarkThere is nothing to complain about, except the rainy weather ... but then the room was fantastic as a "prison" 😀
Lovely view through the palmtrees to the Pacific Ocean...and listen to the sound of waves hitting the beach all night long.

FranceThere were some spider webs that could be removed, we had some renovation on the roof which was in my opinion a bit annoying not bc of the noise but bc they could see us in the bedroom so while there were working we could not use the bathroom
The personnel, all the tips and things they did to help us out. The view of the hotel is nice, nice restaurant as well, nice bedroom and balcony + it’s clean

United States of AmericaLoved my stay here! It was a super clean, secluded, and quiet property but very near to Cloud 9 and to the town proper. The personnel were courteous and attentive. Shout out to Mica, who was a big help in retrieving my phone when I dropped it along the highway. The restaurant also offers excellent pizza, pasta, and steak. Kudos to the owners who made sure we had a comfortable stay! I would love to stay in the property again.

CanadaI missed a pool as I enjoy taking a dive after waking up. But I understand this is in the works and should be available by year's end.
The mini resort felt more like I was staying at a friend’s house. You can see and feel it in every aspect of the place. Passion, not commerce, seems to have dictated how they put it together. I was talking with Gae, who owns the resort together with his very kind and warm wife, about this. To be honest, this place, like most of the island, feels a bit like Bali, or Thailand in its early days (yes, I’m that old). People opening businesses with passion and pride, all small scale. If you’re wanting a peaceful time-out in a beautiful setting, this mini resort will hit the mark. If you’re into surfing, there are some more suitable stays to be found closer to the action. If you’re a foodie, this is the place to stay. Excellent Italian cuisine. Definitely a highlight of my stay. As was the warm hospitality of the owners.

United KingdomOne of a kind place to stay. Amazing property with beautiful rooms and friendly/ super lovely staff. Has a lovely family feel to it and one of the most relaxing places to stay on the island, with the beach (pretty much private) just out front. The owners are incredibly helpful and generous (if there is ever anything you need) which makes the stay all the more lovely.

PortugalSome things take you out of the luxury feel of the room. The breakfast for example is very boring and if you want juice (a very standard thing) you'd have to swap it for the fresh fruit on the menu. We ordered a cappuccino with high expectations, it being an italian restaurant, but got some kind of coffee with flat milk. These are minor but things you would have high expectations for given the price point.
It's a beautiful place and a great way to end your Siargao trip. The beach pool villa is very elegantly designed and decorated with all the amenities you could imagine. The staff are very attentive and helpful.
