The renovations but that’s a good thing for the property. It is a little far out, maybe 15mins walking but if you’ve got a bike then you’re ok. Or, walking is fine if you’re happy with the heat. The hostel will do very well the more business it gets.

Masayana is a new hostel and is having renovations done to it including a pool. I’d love to see what they do with it by next year. The staff are lovely and accommodating. Free service water at reception. You’ll need to ask your taxi driver to take you to the cemetery then keep going to Rena store and it’s right behind it. You can get water and snacks from Rena. The room is the biggest we’ve had and clean. Maybe could do with a chair in the room. The location is a little out of the way but the neighbourhood is friendly. The walk to El Nido town is very nice when it’s not too hot.

The wifi was not really reaching the room and was just weak in general. There was a bed cover but no sheet or towels (you had to pay extra for that). I tried to book a tricycle from the accommodation to the port and they gave me a very expensive (even for tourists) price. I would expect from my accommodation to try help me not get scammed and overpriced, like we usually are as tourists in the Philippines. Sometimes it gets a bit frustrating to be constantly taken for a cash machine. And you will definitely feel like that in El Nido, as it is super touristy. Accommodation is a bit outside if the city. You need to walk 15min to get anywhere.

I was in a 4 beds shared room. Everyone staying were young travellers, super respectful of others (trying to limit noise and keeping things clean and tidy). Bathroom was cleaned every day. You have some areas outside to dry your things. Staff was friendly. Bed is comfortable with curtains for privacy.

The appartements are very clean and are not in the busy El Nido but only 10 min walk in the north fron the El Nido Beach near the peaceful Calaan Beach. Here ypou can swim (only at high tide) and in contrast to El Nido Beach you can enjoy the sunset

Lovely big room in a quiet location 10 mins walk from the main bars and restaurants. Shower pressure was great and each room has a nice seating area outside. All the staff were extremely friendly and helped with booking tours/taxis etc.

The AC is an antiquity that barely works so you’re just dying of heat in your room. Plus there is absolutely NO pressure in the shower so if u have long hair and want to wash them, good luck!

The place is really nice! The room and the bathroom comfy and clean! I like the location because you can have a nice walk from the beach or from the road and you get to the village in less than 10 minutes. The staff is amazing! It was raining a lot one day, I shared a few hours with the women of the hostel and they've been so great. We shared life experience. Ah food is really good! They've been really helpful for activities and transport. I will go back! Thank you!

I loved it here! Soooo nice! There's hammocks to chill and games to play. The beds and rooms itself were so cozy and clean! They offer an amenity kit too! It's not in the center of el nido but not too far of a walk into town. I tried to extend my stay, but unfortunately for me, they were fully booked. The workers themselves are extremely welcoming and helpful! Fabtastic place, I wouldn't think twice about booking just do it!

The whole place is being RENOVATED and is just beautiful! I have totally new, well smelling, silent and clean room. Everything was shining! Towels smelled like most angelic Philippine flowers I haven’t seen before. Apartment was only 10 min walk from the centre of El Nido in a silent location. Beach was very close. Well, location can be reviewed as perfect according to the description and expectations. There was also nice bar/ restaurant for good food, breakfast or just coffee. The lady on reception was also very kind and helpful. Very nice place to stay :) And even though there was a noise from renovation I won’t give it lower review, because if it means your rooms will be beautiful as well, I am happy for youuu :)

Ants everywhere, in the towels, our bags, our clothes. There is continuous construction as the place is not finished yet. Curtains don’t cover the whole window, so little privacy. Also they don’t keep the light out. Many street dogs, walk from the town does not always feel safe. The hotel is new and service is not yet what it should be.

They had 0 services. We spent 3 nights there and they didn't take out the trash one single time. We found mouse droppings on the night table. They did come in with a mouse trap. Next day, other droppings :))). They cleaned a lot on the outside, but never touched the room. The rooms had no fridge. There is a kitchen looking common space with a fridge but we were told it is not available for guests. They didnt cook anything there, it was just an empty space. Very dissapointing.

It was quiet, because it was far from town. It had a good size bed and a good mattress. Also, the room size was good. Decent water pressure.

First negative review I’ve ever written here but unfortunately the stay was poor! Place has potential but needs huge improvements. Pin on google maps is wrong and nobody local knew how to get here. Before you go contact the property for detailed directions. No access by van so bear this in mind if you are being dropped or collected from a tour. Not an easy drive on a scooter with bags! Bathroom wasn’t clean sand on floor and drain full of hair. Not enough toilet paper, toothbrush and toothpaste supplied in welcome pack but it would be better to supply a towel- which I had to ask and pay for. Shower is same room as toilet so if someone has washed before you, you have to walk into a pool of water. Beds very uncomfortable some sort of plastic on mattress that is extremely noisy if people moving around. Only one small bin in bathroom not enough for a dorm room. Building site around the hostel.

Shower is above the toilet and no proper drain. So you stand in the water if someone else showered before you- pretty nasty in dorms. Party island, party people staying in the dorms, gets very rowdy and loud and the staff say nothing. Wifi in the dorm doesnt work, just around reception. Water pressure is poor.

Great location, close to the beach and town. Air con in the room, however the electricity often goes out, so you end up with nothing. Staff were nice.
