The bedsheets were not in the room despite requesting them upfront, and we had to go and ask for them late at night upon arrival. The hotel is quite far from shops and other venues, which meant we had to get a tuk-tuk around most of the time. But overall, I would still pick this venue again.

Staff are super kind, friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is wonderful for families and my kids spent hours splashing about, giving us parents plenty of much needed down time. Overall, great value for money.

Some guests were outside their room until 4am talking quite loud, and when we first arrived there was a poker game going on which was initially for 2 female guests arriving quite intimidating but Anne had it all under control. This wasn’t every night and didn’t affect our stay.

The friendliness of all the staff, pool was right outside the room. Nothing was too much trouble, loved the breakfast and service the staff gave.

The kitchen in the room needs an upgrade and deep cleaning. Furniture is quite old. We paid for standard laundry service, they returned the clothing not completely dry and told us it feels wet because of the air conditioning... that's probably why their linens had a bad odor For the restaurant, the pizzas are not homemade. They ordered from other places by delivery.

The location is great, 15 mins walk to restaurants and shops near Alona Beach. The public areas are clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. The owners were also very responsive when we reported issues.

Airco was noisy

We missed the ferry from Cebu to Bohol (PS: not our fault), so I’ve asked the accommodation if they can maybe switch the dates from our booking. They were so helpful and respond to me very quick! Room was good, nice hot shower.

Nora's place is a little gem... everyone was super friendly and extremely helpful. The pool is very nice and it is only a short walk from Alona beach... it is also very close to several bars and restaurants.

Not so much an accommodation problem, but more a side note if you are sleep conscious. As it a small complex, if your neighbours want to have a late finish or early start there is not controlling that. We had kids screaming in the pool at 6:30am one morning and the Saturday night neighbours outside having a blast all night until 5:30am.

Staff went above and beyond with questions, booking trips and supplying local recommendations. Even a message from the owners whilst on holiday checking in on our trip and how it can be improved. The stay felt very personal what is lovely to see.

Entrance for cars is very narrow. It can be accessed only head on at 90 degrees from the street. Resort has serious problems with the water pressure, especially in the morning taking showers.
