The best hostel I've experienced so far! So many well-thought-out details. But the highlight was the staff, shoutout to Cy, Raf and Paco. Really enjoyed the get-togethers with the staff and the people from the hostel. Made me feel welcome from the very first second. Big recommendation for solo travelers!

There are not enough showers in the hostel and sometimes it’s less convenient

It was VERY social . The common area is so nice to hang out in. The staff was the best, friendly , helpful and set the best environment! The bed was comfortable as well.

The best hostel ever, I loved absolutely everything about it. It's very new, clean and social and the location is really good, there is a surf spot and nice beach basically right outside the door and Cloud 9 can be reached by foot. Chilling in the common area is just a vibe and there is delicious family dinner twice a week. Cy, Raf and Paco are some of the kindest and funniest people I've met during my travels and made the hostel feel like a home to me. You should definitely try the mango float made by Francis and Cy, it's addictive :)

Only one shower because the other two were still under construction. 2 toilets which are cleaned regularly but during the night it can get a little bit messy because the cleaning lady is only there during the day.

It felt like home the second we arrived. Kitchen had everything we needed. A lot of people would make breakfast and dinner everyday and super social hostel. Slept soo good every night, super clean and cute hostel

There is only 2 restrooms and 2 showers for the entire hostel (28 people + staff). The showers are outside and made of bamboo so it doesn’t foster a perfectly sanitary environment. The other somewhat problematic aspect is that there is no staff in the hostel from 9pm to 8am, leaving the guests to police themselves. Meaning that if music is played until very late in the common area, or if someone leaves dirty dishes or is disruptive the other guests have to ask them to stop or correct the behavior. During my stay nothing so appalling happenned but it removes a bit of security to not have anyone of authority around at night.

The common room is great and you feel really welcome to relax there and have a laid back time.

Not something I disliked per se, but it would be great to have more places to dry the clothes outside the room.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel, it is quite new and everything cleaned daily - also the towels are a nice touch. You can see that Paco is finishing up things with the latest improvements, but he has the needs of the travelers in mind. There is a hot shower also, kitchen, AC, curtains for privacy. I appreciated that Cy was also eager to help with everything I needed, there are also family dinners, poker nights, etc, but honestly even though there is no event in an evening there are always people hanging out in the common area therefore it’s very easy to socialize and meet new travelers. Also, don’t hesitate to ask Cy if you need any recommendations for surfing, places to eat, shared van to the airport, anything - he will help you.

10/10 for the vibes here at 3 little birds. People are always chilling in the common area, making it a perfect space to socialize. The beds are comfortable and you notice the owners are still continually improving the hostel. Every day there would be new outlets, water dispenser, warm shower water, etc. The bi-weekly family dinners at the hostel were also really fun.

Normally I don't write a review, but here I make an exception. nicest hostel I've been to. this is because Paco and Sy try very hard to create a very good atmosphere. feels like a family. Thanks Sy for the surfing theory lesson. i will definitely come back to this place.

The most social hostel I have ever been so far! It feels like a home to my! The beds and dorms where great! Paco and Cy are great hosts! The location is also great near the beach!

The fan-room is very hot! You get your own fan in your bed which is great but the room is very hot during the day.

This new hostel has a very nice vibe ,where you can chill and meet other travelers. The staff and owner is super friendly and they organize activities during some evenings like family dinner and poker night. There is a communal kitchen you can use, which was fab and the first time I see this in The Philippines! The hostel is located to Cloud 9 and its beach. You need a scooter to get around or get a tricycle from the road. General Luna is small so it only takes 7 min to downtown. Will be back!

Needs more privacy around showers- have to walk past everyone in communal area to have one! Another sink would be great- difficult to brush teeth/wash hands etc with only one. Hot water for after surfing would be mega!

Very clean- someone seemed to be cleaning all the time. Any problems fixed straight away. Super kitchen facilities and lovely communal area to sit and chat in evenings. Some evenings very loud others very quiet!! Met some lovely people here. Nice space under beds to lock your stuff ( bring own padlock) owner very helpful with booking surf lesson and is around lots which is nice.

The staff was lovely, very welcoming and helpful. They gave me the best places to visit and told me where to go surfing every day. The rooms were great, each with a fan, a bedlamp and 2 outlets. The common area was especially enjoyable, you can find people chilling there at any hour and everyone is very open and friendly. The hostel held a great party on Saturday with an awesome dj. Overall great experience, I highly recommend!

The hostel is super new, beds are comfortable, even sheets and towels are amazing. It is always perfectly clean. All the staff is really nice and welcoming! I recommend the 12 beds dormitory for having windows.

Everything is great.

It’s a very new place but you can tell the owner Paco has done this place with a lot of love. Super good option to stay in GL. Social hostel with a lot of space in the rooms and comfortable and private beds.
