Location and The people that work in the hotel they’re amazing.. Thank you I had an amazing time. The complementary coffee, pasteis de nata , water , Sparkling wine in the lobby and complementary drinks in the room are a plus.

This has been my second visit in Lisbon & I was staying again at the Blue Liberdade Hotel. I really like the location ( very close to a lot of the viewpoints), close to many restaurants & shops etc. The hotel arranged for the transfer from/ to the airport ( 50 Euro), Impeccable service! We had a birthday to celebrate & the hotel arranged for flowers & some sparkling wine. Another wonderful stay, thank you!

The only vaguely negative thing I could add is that the room was on the small side, not that was really an issue for us as we were out sightseeing for 12 or 13 hours a day. However, it did have lovely outlook over the square outside and it is a city centre hotel and very good value. If you really want a room with separate chairs for lounging around in then it's probably not ideal but who wants to sit inside when a lovely city is waiting to be explored?!

The location of the hotel with respect to the city centre, metro station, taxi rank, local facilities etc was superb. Despite the hotel being on a relative major road (but well set back from it) and with the room being at the front and with a restaurant 2 floors below, we were pleasantly surprised that there was no disturbance from traffic or people. The room was lovely with quite a large bathroom with a great shower and its own french windows out to the front, The bed was super comfy, great pillows, good lighting options and the complimentary water and free soft drinks minibar is a nice touch. Everything seems very new and was spotlessly clean. Reception staff were super friendly and helpful and the free fizz, juices, coffee and Pastel de Natas were much appreciated! We chose not to take the breakfast option at the hotel but only because we prefer to have brunch/lunch. By the way, the restaurant outside (a separate business) seems really popular and food looked amazing - one of only a few places where locals queue to get a table.

Narrow hallway

Front desk staff excellent service. Our favorite was complementary soda,juice,mineral water daily and egg tarts at the lobby . I am not sure if this is always available during the year . My husband enjoyed it a lot ! Special thanks to Theresa !

It was lovely that they offered complimentary water, juice and wine but there is really just one small seat in which to sit and enjoy the drinks. Breakfast was unremarkable but adequate. All in all we loved our stay and wish we were still there!

This hotel is beautiful - from the gorgeous blue exterior and the charming outdoor restaurant to the sparkling clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is very professional and kind, very helpful. The neighborhood offers easy walking to many attractions with lots of restaurants and shopping.

Not keeping promise by Booking.com

Booking.com mentioned that taxi service from and to the airport be included which was not true. Also no breakfast provided though mentioned while booking.

What you see in the pictures is what you get with the rooms. They can be a bit small for people who like to have a lot of space. We’d rather have a big comfortable bed than a lot of walk room but I can see this being a problem for some other people.

Blue Liberdade gave us everything we needed (and more) for our Lisbon trip. It was an incredibly clean room (we are both neat freaks so you can take our word for it) and the room service ensured the cleanliness and comfort continued throughout our trip. Our main worry with Lisbon accommodation was potential noise pollution within our room. However our room was very silent and comfortable to sleep in, despite facing a busy city view. But what really shines for Blue Liberdade is an amazing staff and location. The location is at the center of everything you want to see in Lisbon. For the attractions that are not walkable you have the public transport (metro, tram, bus) very close by and the transport tickets are conveniently sold at the reception desk. We cannot begin to describe how helpful staff is at Blue Liberdade. Not only they upgraded our room when we got there for NO COST at all. But they helped us through all our questions, tried to find best solutions for our problems and even helped us purchase our train tickets to Porto. Mind you, due to some problems the train tickets took almost half an hour to be purchased and during the time a lovely staff just sat through with us and helped in every step. There is complementary pateis de nata and good coffee at the reception (a savior when you don’t have time for breakfast) and some drinks at the minibar which are free as well. We even got a mini Portuguese wine! What’s more to ask?

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. From the room, staff, breakfast and all the amenities. There is coffee, water, juice and sparking winds in reception for you to enjoy all day :)

The staff are amazing. Always willing to help. The drinks and pastries in the reception are a nice touch. The breakfast is excellent and so much to choose from, cereal, bacon and eggs, sausages, breads, fruit, and pastries. High pressure shower.

Mainly, I have nothing bad to report. My only issue was that family room has very narrow space but, fair enough. Everything else was fantastic. Everyone was helpful and always trying to satisfy customers.

Breakfast was excellent, serving variety of food, all them delicious and balanced. Meal on time and very extended period (up to pass 11 AM). Staff super courteous. Accommodation for many type of diet.

Room a bit small, too small to sit and work, little space for clothes etc, no coffee kit. But manageable for a few days. Tiny lobby, but ok

Very good location, central, close to restaurants, train station etc, nice city view. Nice staff, clean rooms. Free coffee etc in lobby. Comfortable bed ,good shower. Breakfast had a bit of choice though not vast, we liked it.
