The only thing I didn't like was the room fragrance that the hotel sprays in the lobby and corridors. It's just a little over the top, but I'm also sensitive to odours.

The hotel is beautifully designed, the beds extremely comfortable, the breakfast delicious and the staff very friendly. It is pleasantly quiet despite the location. Would recommend it to others.

We could have used a big chair in the room - to read and relax. But our room was just a bit too small to fit an extra piece of furniture

Super friendly staff - relaxed and so helpful. Small snacks and a glass of port or bubbles in the afternoon. A tote in our room with water and müsli bars for our city hike. Breakfast menu fantastic! Ambience with designer details and intimate corners to stay and digest the impressions from outside the hotel. All these carefully orchestrated details totally made our stay. PS Room 102 and 104 have the bigger terraces. We stayed in 103 - private terrace is highly recommended - a small oasis above the central oasis of the hotel

Some explanation to how to start the air-conditioning and operation. For example , windows must be closed for the AC to start And where is the on/off switch.

Modern, trendy, fresh. Very cool communal spaces, and room was spacious and funky. Very grateful for the upgrade to junior suite. And the peanut butter sweets were delicious! Breakfast menu was fab.

Terrible internet connection. It felt that place was build for instagram generation.

Great looking place with great location. But it can be anywhere, Singapore, Madrid, Stockholm... sterile with zero Portugal feeling. Maybe I was just too old for their concept.

There really is very little to say that we didnt like - perhaps the fact their isnt a gym? But we knew that going in & the yoga area was more than enough for what we wanted.

- Breakfast was brilliant, lots of range & flavours - location was spot on, could get to almost everywhere within 20 minutes - the staff were exceptional, pointing us towards interesting points of interests, & also welcoming us at all times

1. Temperature setting in the room was impossible to understand and to set right. After 15 min of trying to set it up to colder temperature, we had to give it and switch it off completely - as the result, the room was super hot during the night. Be smarter than us, check it out with somebody before it’s 2am at night.. 2. The restaurant team needs a bit more training. Eveybody is super nice and helpful, but one guy literally put his finger into my egg bowl when serving and another person served a sandwich in the restaurant with no cuttlery or even napkin.

The location is spectacular, right by Rossio square, 5 min walking (up up up) to Bairro Alto and 15 min walking to the castle. Tons of nice restaurants around and the main shopping street is a stone trow away. The hotel design is beautiful, especially the dense tropical garden outside 😍 And the value for money was great!!
