We were happy with everything.

Staff were lovely and friendly. The room was small but nicely decorated and there were small touches that made our stay very enjoyable (coffee machine in the lobby, etc). The breakfast was brilliant.

I would have liked to have a bigger bed and two duvets instead of one big one.

Room was small, but that is a reality of location we chose to stay. Disappointed the hotel had run out of tiles which is part of the welcome to the hotel so we did not receive one.

Location was a nice experience. Excellent breakfast in a beautiful breakfast room with lots of selection. Coffee selection and water available 24/7. Lovely alcove at front of hotel to sit and relax. Clean and inviting. Rita very helpful with restaurant recommendations and helping with our room temperature.

Location, breakfast, comfort... everything was perfect. They welcome you with pastel de nata and cherry liquor. Hotel is located right behind the most popular view point of Alfama. It has a great view. It is easy to reach to other places. It serves breakfast everyday. You get to have your breakfast in a very relaxed, cozy area. They also have a good quality coffee machine in the lobby (available for 24 hours). You can either get your coffee take away or enjoy it in the small garden for free. It is also really great for them to give bottle of water each day. Lastly, the rooms are very comfortable and they provide cleaning service everyday.

They seem to have a contract or some kind of agreement w a car service . They keep offering them instead of other modes of transportation. It makes me wonder if the staff gets some kind of an incentive for selling it.

Nothing! However, the small footprint of the hotel means the rooms are small and do not allow for twin beds, making it difficult for friends travelling together.

Rooms were small but beautiful and the location was amazing!! Staff went out of their way and the free breakfast (mimosas) were spot on. Great place to explore Alfama from.

No criticism of the hotel at all, but note it is a boutique hotel with a small footprint and so does not have much in the way of garden/lounge spaces or a restaurant.

Excellent and friendly staff. Impressive breakfast in such a small space and well managed by the team. Helpful advice on local eating options - very successful in our case. Great in-room supplies.

Ideal location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room and delicious breakfasts. Plus a cake and bottle of champagne as it was my husband's birthday. Would recommend.

My only comment here is that it would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the room, but honestly, this wasn’t a deal breaker as there was limitless good coffee available in the lobby

Nice and central location, with great view of the river. Compact but comfy and clean rooms. Nice, sturdy but comfy bed. The room was pretty warm but AC available and windows can open wide. The property is well-maintained. Simple but nice breakfast with all the basics covered. Great fresh fruits and even champagne if you like.
