Too soft bads, but this is just my personal opinion. Restaurant run in limited operation, that would be of course ok, but if we knew this while making the reservation, not when we arrived to hotel in the evening. We were looking forward to website menu, but there was only one meal that day - beef pot with rice that in my opinion was mix of everything and was not possible to recognize what is in it and definitally didn´t worth the price.

Even though the room was small, it was equipped very functionally and there is all you need.

The hotel was a great choice as a one night stop in the off season. However it is a 10 minute drive from Åre, and there is not much available in the immediate area.

We stayed only for one night in the off season en route from Sweden to Norway. The accommodation is very clean and functional. The restaurant was closed for dinner, but there was a fabulous breakfast buffet included in the booking. I imagine the hotel would be very cozy and atmospheric in the winter as a base for skiing. The owners are very experienced skiers (with lots of cool photos on the hallway walls), and there is a sauna onsite.

Restaurant, bar and other spaces were closed during our visit as it was low season. We did receive an email shortly before we arrived to advise this + that breakfast would be limited. This wasnt much of a problem to us as were mainly out hiking but I think people should be notified of this at booking. Not a huge issue though and would still recommend booking!

Fantastic location with amazing views, the hotel is understandably a bit dated but still a lovely space with lots of character + renovations ongoing whilst we were there so am sure it will look fresher soon. Staff very helpful both before with questions around transport and during our stay.

. Gasket around door was missing and that caused door to move all the time . And movement was cousing loud sound . Also room was quite warm all heating was off so I ended sleeping with open window.

Occasionally felt a little cold in bedroom (and public areas too), the background fan heater was provided for the room which helped but made it dry and airless. Maybe just because we are not used to these Winters!!

Some craftsman was working by the entrance so it was slightly difficult to enter.

Two beds but just one chair in the room. No open restaurant in the neighbourhood.

The breakfast had all I need, for a good start of the day. Bedcomfort was okey. Quite and a nice view. Easy parking.

The room was a little bit cold, but the staff provided us with additional heater. The relax area was well organized and we really enjoyed it. The breakfast was tasty however after a few days it started to be boring. We were not expecting to have various choices everyday, but considering it was Easter period, the Easter breakfast could be more sophisticated.

I would prefer lockers in the skiroom.

The place was much better than I initially expected: this is a proper hotel in a fairly short driving distance from Åre. The location is almost idyllic and quiet, so if you do not want to expose yourself to noisy environment in Åre and prefer free parking – this is definitely a place for you. I was very pleased by descent Internet connection and (most importantly) the saunas, which are a bit on a rustic side, but they definitely do the trick. I think the food was a bit expensive, but in fact this was worth it: in general it was one of the best meals that I have got in Åre-area so far. The room was spotlessly clean and the service was pollite, professional and friendly.

Almost no kitchen utensils. Very old kitchen furniture, no kettle, no microwave, no sponges, no hair dryer. Fridge not working. TV didn't function in the beginning.

Good breakfast, friendly stuff, sauna. Good location. Nice restaurant.
