The breakfast was excellent. The night receptionist kindly made me a hot drink at 0300 because the coffee machine had just broken. It was so kind of her. It felt so welcoming to be able to take coffee and tea throughout the day or night. Also the evening meal was simple but very tasty and there was always soup, salads and bread, as well. The price was similar to other hotels but included tea, coffee and evening meal.

Only reason it's not a 10 is because the room was boiling hot. Heating was on 24.5 at checkin and we never got it down to less than 22.5 even with windows open. Asked reception but they said it's a old system and there was nothing they could do apart from move us to a different room (not double bed).

Beautiful little hotel with great food, both breakfast, fika and dinner and decent priced wine and beer in restaurant. Our room and especially the double bed was insanely comfortable and the rain shower was lovely. Would come back or recommend as a little getaway and thought it was well worth the money.

The single rooms are very small but some have beautiful harbor views and the beds are extremely comfortable.

Great location, five minutes from the Karlskrona train station and less than fifteen minutes to all the sights, including the must-see maritime museum. Super nice staff. The stay includes dinner which is a beautiful buffet spreqd with salads, soup and a warm dish every night, freshly prepared. Breakfast is just as nice.

Hotel had a cosy atmosphere. Breakfast and dinner was yummy and plentiful. Rooms was quiet and we got the choice to upgrade which we did not do.

It doesn't have a direct view of the sea. Since the number of public bikes in the city is minimal, I wish the hotel could offer bikes for rent.

It is a lovely hotel, with super comfortable rooms and beds—great options for breakfast and dinner. The patio is charming! I can easily spend hours having a nice reading and fika in there.

Balcony not really worth while, as in first floor room it was like a small patio lined by partly broken bushes which looked like someone entered the balcony/patio that way.

Good location, easily reached by car, large parking area just opposite to the hotel. Walking distance to the marine museum. Fast response fron the reception to e-mails concerning some questions before arrival. Nice room with spotless bathroom.

We had higher expectation on this hotel since exterior images of the hotel promising some kind of luxury but we were dissapointed. Some limited numbers of sits during breakfast time. It is located in some kind of "busineess area" so dead area around hotel in the afternoon and evening.

Bed was comfortable, exterior was promising on the images, unfortunately was interior not on same level. Breakfast was ok. Afternoon "fika" and dinner was included in the price. Food was ok, but not more than that. Nice restarurant terrace. Close to city center.

Great staff. Receptionist recommanded Kristianopel - truly great place. Place has “positive” vibrations. The Lasagne was delicous as the Ripasso as well.

We stayed at this hotel in May this year and gave the hotel a very high rating. Pleased to experience the same level of exceptional service in July. Both our rooms were upgraded to avoid road work noise.

It could have been a little cleaner. The air conditioner was blocked for changing temperature which was little inconvenient.
