Nice hotel with a good location in the city centre near the river and central station (and the airport as Umea is quite a small city ;). The sauna was a bonus (but I did not have too much time for it.

The things that I did not like about the hotel are: first, all rooms had carpet instead of pavement, which is a bit problematic for allergic people; maybe they are not very clean either; that's why I do not know (but me and my friend in separate rooms had allergy attacks), there should not be carpet or the rooms should be cleaned every day; and such; (if you request, they clean; otherwise, every 4th day of your accommodation, the rooms are cleaned for sustainability purposes). The other thing that I did not like is that the sauna opens at 16.00 and it is open till 22.00. Since it is not open in the morning you cannot use it if you have project meetings the whole day and a dinner with the project group in the evening like us, you basically do not have time for sauna which is not nice I believe. I understand that fitness should be closed at 22.00 in order not to disturb other guests (since the fitness and sauna rooms are between the other rooms - they are like small rooms, there is no such an external spa or wellness area), but what about sauna? There is no person in charge neither in fitness nor in sauna because it is not needed and since in sauna there is no noise like the treadmill or the dumbbells, sauna can stay open till midnight at least or even better in the morning by any chance? I do not think with these opening hours, even if we want we cannot use the sauna.

The hotel was in the heart of city - the breakfast was great, and the staff very nice and helpful all the time. Other than this, the lobby area was very spacious and there is a space to work as well. Also, there is a coffee machine and hot water (with various tea options and small cookies) all the time in the lobby area which I highly appreciate. The hotel has a sauna and a small fitness room which were sufficient I think. Thanks!

I had to wait 15 minutes in the queue to check-in. One guest seemed to be having an issue so everyone needed to be processed by one member of staff. It would have been helpful if I had received an apology for my wait. I had issues to find the WiFi password, it turns out that it is displayed on the check-in counter, but since it was busy when I arrived it was out of sight. Again an area where reception could improve: Many hotels at least point you to the information.

The hotel is located in the centre of the town, perhaps 7-8 minutes by foot from the station. Good sized rooms, comfy beds and everything very clean. Internet good, very good and varied breakfast.

Taking a shower would flood the entire bathroom.

Nice, clean rooms and great location to explorer the city centre. They offer luggage storage, a gym and sauna facilities.

The sauna was mixed gender (with separate changing rooms), changing rooms could use cleaning and more hooks/benches. The bucket for the sauna was very small and the "spoon" (for throwing water) was basically useless due to its small capacity, with a crack making it worse.

Good value, it had a sauna and pretty good breakfast. The windowless rooms were a nice way to save a little bit of money compared to the normal ones and other hotels.

We had to book last minute as we were stranded in Umea due to the weather and the lady at the reception was extremely helpful.. the rooms were nice and overal great service.

Good location very close to the city center and the river (possibilites of jogging or walking), ca 30-45 min walk from the University campus. Modern cozy room, a variety of food for breakfast, free coffee all day. Friendly and helpful staff.

We had to choose an half an hour window for breakfast which was not that convenient. I get why they had to do it though. Also it could have had bit more selection of things.

Good clean room with all the amenities. Didn't have a window, but we didn't expect any for this price. Staff were friendly and breakfast was okay (not the best but was good enough)
