Great service providing breakfast and dinner.

We have had a double room above kitchen area. The ventilation was a little bit noisy. A wardrobe/cupboard to store up the clothes was missing. The tap in the bathroom was very small.

Nice hotel in cottage/farm house style in a small village not far away from the East coast of Oland. The breakfast can be pre-ordered at the day before.

The room was quaint and clean. However, it was difficult for us to find space and outlets for our 2 CPAP machines. The stairs up to the room were steep and hard to manage with our suitcases. The eaves in the room were difficult for us to navigate. (We are both over 65.) The window could only be open full and locked or closed. At night, we wanted it open but pulled the blind to create a dark room. The blind flapped all night long in the breeze.

The breakfasts and the one dinner we had there were fabulous!

A bit to small room. It is necessary to book table for a dinner.

Price felt a bit too high for the size of the room

Breakfasts were amazing, nice location in the middle of Öland close to bigger towns but very calm area at the same time. The place itself is really nice with chairs and tables in the garden, hotel is surrounded by the field that gives really nice sense of calmness, but one doesn’t feel isolated at the same time

Price/performance ratio was not convincing compared to other houses in Sweden. The cottage is located next to the restaurant and the street.

Very nice cottage, nicely equipped. Breakfast-picnic-basket was delicious. Good location for exploring the impressive surrounding area of Öland.

There was a bit of confusion when we arrived and had to pay with swish but they didn’t register that before checkout, but otherwise nothing to complain about.

We loved the surroundings and the room was very nice. Friendly staff and excellent food helped the score of this place a lot. Also loved their breakfast :)

Down side was our room was really small, had bad ventilation so it smelled damns and needed a refreshment renovation in the bathroom.

Great food and lovely breakfast concept with a picnic bag, easy to bring the food and enjoy your breakfast by the water.

The breakfast was " top of the pop". Everything is done by love -not just food what is local, but everything- house, rooms, surrounding, people. Nothing from "factory hotels". We felt like in fairy tail. Like grandmothers house were you are always expected. And dogs are expected. And Eksgarden bicycles can bring you for early morning swimming in Baltic see. There are no coincidences. Dinner- we never ever had such beautiful dinner. Absolute service and love without any play.

I do not have anything negative to say - we overall enjoyed our stay and I didn't discover any problems.

A very well maintained collection of houses with several rooms in them gave the place a great cosy, rural feeling. The breakfast solution with the pre-ordered baskets was a great idea to avoid crowding in the morning, and exceptional delicious and nourishing (+ not unhealthy). Arriving late at night was no problem when they were contacted before.

If you are looking for a place to linger and relax, this is the place to be. Eksgarden is a small idyllic oasis where you can find peace and quiet and also enjoy culinary delights. The whole thing is accompanied by very friendly and competent staff.
