The common areas could be more cared, they looked worn out. Also, we had to wait 15 minutes for check-in, the person arrived late.

The hotel was somewhat old, but it was functional, and the room was good, large (with an extra sofa bed), a good bathroom, a good bed. The breakfast was very good. The place is located right off the highway, close to a mini-mall. It was convenient for a stop like ours, though a bit far from the center (we didn't go there, since it was very cold outside). There was free parking outside.

I was told that I could not change my booking from one Best Western hotel to another online. Otherwise, I could lose my money paid for the bokking. I found this quite strange.

The doom was clean, and the staff were helpful.

Breakfast was a bit dissapointing, compared to our other hotel stays. Staff seems a little shy.

We liked the location, not in the centre of Østersund. Nice renovated rooms.

The reception was working shorter hours when we arrived, so we were given a code to the main entrance. We kept trying getting in (late evening), the doorbell hadn’t been answered and when we contacted the hotline it turned out the wrong code is being sent to guests regularly (they weren’t surprised).

Otherwise comfortable, with tasty breakfast and very close to the main road (which makes it a perfect stop on a road trip!)

Is a business hotel, purely functional. Location poor, part of an apartment block, very odd, unwelcoming looking. Pictures on Google maps show a totally different places with an outdoor pool!

Basic overnight travelers rest. Quiet, secure. On motorcycles, reception allowed us to park right out front beside the disabled bay. Good breakfast. Only 1k stroll into eateries in town

No information given from the reception, responding in Swedish only (perhaps the staff was new to the job). Clogged and smelly drain in the sink, broken light bulb and other smaller things like this made it kind of bellow average stay.

Our room was very dirty. There was dried poop on the toilet seat, the bathroom sink wasn't cleaned. It was dusty, dead bugs on the window sill and there was hair on the floor. I am a professional cleaner, so it was quite a shock! Also there was a loud banging sound at 3 am.

The breakfast was the best part of our stay. It was a buffet style breakfast with a lot of selection, smoked salmon, bacon, scrambled eggs, smoothies.

It was a lot of poland(?) guys there. They was standing outside the whole evening/night and my kids and also other people was afraid and dont wanna go outside because of them. That destroyed the whole experience.

There was no air conditioning and the room got too hot during the night. Luckily it was possible to open the window, but this mostly did not cool the room enough. We had asked for a good cleaning under beds, as some of us have dust allergy, but we found cleaning to be lacking in this respect during the entire stay although we asked for them to redo it.

The hotel room was large enough for four persons, although youngsters had to share a folded sofa bed. There was enough space in the toilet/bathroom and the shower functioned well. The view was to a street below, and people were sometimes smoking there but they moved when we asked them to. We found the breakfast to be excellent. There were some different local varieties on offer for each day and really clearly made a large effort in making an interesting and quality menu for every morning. The receptionists were very polite and helpful. The location was nice for exploring places outside Östersund. We mostly ate at the centre of Östersund, which is about a half an hour walk. However, there is also a local pizzeria close by with a good menu. As the hotel was not in the center, we found the hotel area peaceful in the evening, which was nice. There were always enough parking spaces.

I would have liked a wider choice of evening meal, but that said the buffet style dinner was enjoyable.

Location is great for access from the main roads and easy walking distance to town. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and all fresh.
