How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Excellent breakfast, and good to be able to get a simple evening meal. I walked round a bit before I found the hotel; there should be some sign on the side facing the station. My room was large and pleasant.

You put the tag on dor for cleaning but it does not happen and in 4 nights with tag on the door, only when I spoke to the maiden, it really happened

Bathroom exhaust for steam removal could do with an upgrade but its performance is on par with that of Scandinavia.
Located within easy walking distance to Malmö Central Train Station and Malmö’s excellent dining scene. Ample street parking at very good rates and access to multi level parking facility. Spacious Dining Room with ample variety and quantity of Breakfast Foods. Rooms are basic in layout but spacious, clean, well appointed with comfortable beds, opening windows and very liveable. Check in & out was very easy and all Staff were professional, obliging and lovely to deal with.

There is no air con in the room; no slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste, so read about all the facilities and amenities before booking.
Good location, very close to the central station. Staff is helpful and friendly. Very good breakfast with good choice.

Nothing really, you get what you pay and our stay was very good for the price and quality of the hotel.
Despite its slightly off-center location in a tranquil neighborhood and somewhat dated facilities, the hotel provided a fairly satisfactory experience with a decent breakfast offering during our overall good stay.

Never had chance to get an ironing machine. They have a shortage of them they usually claim so..
I like the rooms as they have huge windows overlooking the city. I took this place several times. The closest to Malmö C. Good prices when booking in advance.

The location of the hotel was very good, very close to the station and the city centre. The rooms were the ideal size for two people. The hotel was very clean. It was very nice that breakfast was included in the accommodation fee and there were plenty of breakfast options. Free tea and coffee in the evening was also good. The hotel staff were helpful, especially Mr Mehmet was very interested, friendly and sincere.

Rude receptionist. We arrived on friday at 2 O'clock AM, late at night. The reception was open, that was good. But the receptionist was such a rude and disrespectful person, that er were shocked. No smile, no greeting, even though my brother greeted him, he did not reply. 😧 I will never recommend this hotel to someone cause of the rudeness of the staff. I hope the hotel owner evaluates the staff once again.

Really enjoyed my one night stay here. Room was really big with great shower, strong wifi and Rituals toiletries (brownie points). Breakfast was also fantastic with a great selection. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location too, right beside the Central Station.

Rooms are basic but thats why the price is lower compared to alternative hotels.
Great location. Price was high due to Eurovision, but ease of access to transport and location near city centre makes it worthwhile. Basic hotel in terms of facilities, but very easy for transport, good breakfast and start to the day. Rituals products in the bathroom a nice touch.

For the size of the room it would have been great to have a small fridge in the room since i was in Malmö for medical reasons and it would have been good to have a fridge

The room was a bit dusty and old furnished, but it is ok!
The best thing is the location, it is just 5 minutes by walking far from the Malmö C central train station. The room was alright but the breakfast was really good. I also thank to the staff especially Mr. Mehmet, he is so helpful

The state of the parquet floor and a few signs of wear on the wall, but nothing too bad.
All the staff, from the cleaners to the receptionists, were incredible, in a good mood and always available when needed.
