Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyUnfortunately, we didn't have a closet in the room. It's inconvenient, and also the room was VERY dark.

SwedenThe bathroom in my room could use a little love (but everything worked and it was very clean).
Don't judge a book by its cover. A rather underwhelming entrance to an apartment building leads to a very cozy hotel on the inside.

SwedenIt cannot be helped in old building, possibly, but it was cold - it happened to be a very cold day, around -20 degrees outside, and the room was a bit cold to sleep comfortably.
Beautiful Morris wallpaper, lovey interior and a very large old fashioned lovely room. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff.

United KingdomThere was no shelf in the shower for my own toiletries.
I received a call on the night before the flight, saying they would change my booking for their sister hotel Livin Station. Checkin was at 3 p.m. We arrived 4 hours earlier and i thought we could leave our luggage to wander about the town. But the hotel was closed. I waited a bit and called them to see about the luggage. They said yes. And even allowed us to check-in, as there were some rooms available. I am thankful for the early check-in, as we were really tired because we had a night flight. Delicious and full breakfast. Perfect location - across the central station. (You can’t hear any noise from trains, though! Or from the city) Had very good sleep.

LatviaThe location from the Central station is just 4 min walk, the design is very lovely, there is some extra charm in the breakfast that they serve. I travelled very late (past midnight by bus from Stockholm) and they gave very concrete details, how to check in myself to get in the room. The communication is top class!

SwitzerlandThere was a strange smell in our room. Not so bad though but still strange. The stuff was not around. We did not have internet so could not receive mails we did not know the code for the door so we had to wait until someone is there and it was not good.
It was central and clean.

PolandAt first we had some trouble checking in, but we'd appeared earlier than we should've (though, according to a prior conversation, earlier check-ins were possible). There was no one who could let us in and the code, we'd got via Booking, didn't work. It didn't took longer than 20 minutes to sort everything out and right away we could help ourselves with a cup of hot Swedish coffee. The room didn't feature any cabinets nor any chest of drawers to store our things. A door-less shower looks great, but it takes some practice not to spill the water everywhere.
Everyday there was a breakfast available in the dining area. A great choice of the usual morning products (flakes, eggs, bread, vegetables) which were regularly restocked. In the afternoons and the evenings there were thermoses provided with both hot water and coffee. You could also use a kettle and brew yourself a tea - with many flavours to choose from. The room looked remarkable. It was very stylish, yet neat and clean. The hotel is located just between the train station and the castle. There is a general store downstairs (Hemköp).

UruguayThe entrance was hard to find at first. I didn't receive a code to open the front door beforehand and the reception was closed when I arrived.
The location was excellent. Two blocks away from the train/bus station, and two blocks away from the city center. Breakfast was great. Friendly staff.

FinlandNothing negative to mention.
Such a lovely family run hotel, right in the center of town so you can walk to anywhere you want, to find shops & cafes or to visit the castle. It is also easy and cheap to find a indoor parking (Aimo parking, less than 200m, I paid around 15e overnight) Lovely home-made breakfast that includes fresh and veggie options. Good communication with/from hotel. I would not hesitate to book a room here again if I visit Orebrö in the future.

United KingdomThe only negative was that the shower doesn't have a base so water leaks all over the bathroom if you don't use a towel to block it, and even then you get a soaking wet towel.
We got stranded in Orebro because we waited too long to book our train but finding this place last minute was really great. The price was reasonable for a private ensuite room and breakfast included. It was in a nice old building and the rooms were really spacious. The staff was really friendly and helpful, the temperature in the room was good and the breakfast was really awesome. There were TONNES of vegan options including yogurt, oat milk, vegan deli slices, fruit, beans, bread and cereal. It was a really nice surprise for us thinking it was going to be a black coffee and dry toast morning.

AustraliaGuests need a 4 digit pin to enter the premise for check in - reception tried to call me on my listed mobile number (overseas), which I had inactivated when traveling to Sweden to avoid roaming charges >> resolved with email, process could be made better. The curtains were heavy and blocked out most light, but are not as effective as blackout curtains, so some light came in at night - however, this might only be a problem at midsummer.
An intimate and cosy stay at a small hotel with the atmosphere of an English manor or Agatha Christie novel. Location: good, near Orebo station, with a short convenient walk to the city centre, next to a Hemkop supermarket. Staff: very helpful and friendly. Wifi: worked well, dropped off on some occasions. TV: had Netflix and YouTube, which was great. Breakfast: a good spread of Scandinavian and Western breakfast options (bacon, pancakes, etc), really liked the ginger shot. Tea or coffee with cookies available at all times in the lobby sitting area, which was a nice evening comfort. A solid 7/10 experience.
