Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Need light blocking out curtain.
It was a little quaint. Not your regular run of the mill place to stay, which is nice. Nice size room looking into a courtyard.

One: Parking was only allowed till check-out, even there was no guests and hotel seemed to be not crowded. Two: Sauna and pool are to be booked for one hour, timing could be a problem
Overall impression is positive, but there is a room for improvement. The location in the middle of the town and own parking zone makes the place the preferable choice. Bed and breakfast are good.

The fact that they didn't mention after reservation that we need to use another parking. We need to move the car to another one.
Very good and varied breakfast, the little bag with candies that they gave it to us at the checkout was a good surprise.

The hotel rents out rooms to social services and unfortunately there was an altercation and the police were called, we didn’t feel comfortable in that building. Changing our room was no problem at all.
The beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was 10/10. Sarah (front of house) was wonderful, service minded and really looked after us. Having the use of a private pool and sauna was great.

The pillows were not to my liking. Too small. The location is a bit off the beaten track but still close to the centre.
Good room with acceptable size. The small desk is a plus. Good bathroom. Good breakfast. Good to be able to sit outside enjoying the breakfast in the garden - and a beer in the evening. I did not try the wifi.

We couldn’t sleep well any of the nights, we heard the sound of doors slamming all the time starting at 5am. We were not sure if it was from other bedrooms, the front door (we were at ground floor) or the door from the stairs.
Staff was super nice and kind Breakfast was good Great localization

The room for gym is too small.

Shower could be a bit better, but still was good enough. Parking might not be suitable for large cars, but it was not a problem in my case.
We were allowed to park a car for 2 more hours after checkout, which was really nice. Helpful staff. Very good cosmetics, many towels, delicious breakfast, free Wi-Fi, fantastic location. Everything was good overall.

I would not call this a 4 star hotel (3 star ok). The sound between rooms was too transparent, especially since it is wooden floors and sound escaping from the bathrooms too.
The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was really delicious. I appreciate also the desire to ask clients not to clean rooms daily because of environmental reasons. I think this is great and necessary for the environment and great courage for the hotel to do this and ask!

Got a parking ticket outside on the street. Started to pay for parking at 8:04 and received a ticket at 8:07. I paid for green zone, but had parked on the other side of the street in the Red Zone. (More expensive side)

Very little parking area, it was a bit tricky to maneuver with all the slots occupied. We had to kill 4 large spiders in our room when we arrived. The canteen is too small and got very crowded during breakfast.
Good location, tasty breakfast, super nice personel, saunas availability.

No shower curtain (although a big shower area) made water getting out on the floor. No soap dispenser available at the sink, has to be taken the one in the shower. Breakfast area quite narrow and crowded.
Received an upgrade to a suite. Good parking area.
