Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bed is abit too soft for me but still comfortable. Toiletries coukd be better.
Breakfast was great. Room size is good. Self check in and check out is smooth and easy with simple instructions. Location is good.

I had a problem with the check-in process. The automatic system repeatedly failed to send me the code for opening the doors. However, the staff was kind enough to send me an SMS manually at night. I had also booked a garage, but the system did not send me any information about it, so I gave up on the garage (I didn’t have to pay it in advance).
Perfect breakfast. Changing arrival date was not problem. Supportive staff.

Even though the reception was unmanned in the evening it work well with access codes. Very good location in the city centre of Karlskrona. Close to the water and other activities. Reception was manned in the morning and personnel very friendly. Breakfast excellent with a big variety of dishes.

Nothing in particular about the hotel but be careful where you park your car. We parked our car in the street just outside the hotel but got a fine in the morning because you couldn’t park there between 8-10 in the morning on Fridays. Of course we should have checked better or booked a spot in the hotel’s garage to avoid this. The hotel did send us a mail about the possibility to park in their garage but the mail arrived one day too late.
Easy check-in (got a code via sms), comfortable room and great Swedish breakfast! Central location.

Bit expensive for what you get, the rooms was quite small, no “hotel feeling” very basic furnitures. it was more like staying at a dormitory. It is a staff free hotel, only saw staff for breakfast, was okay, but if you send a message through booking or send an email, they do not reply. So have to call a direct number if any issues. Bed pillows was small and flat.
Location was great, central of the city, very close to the harbor, shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. Breakfast was good, small buffet, but had all the basic and quality was good. Possible to park at the hotels carpark. The room was nice clean, but no cozy feeling.

Would maybe uppgrade the shower a bit as it splashes water in all the bathroom, but to be fair seen same type of showers in more expensive hotels

Well.. it wasn't that hot yet so we could keep the windows closed and avoid the sound of music from the street.. If you have light sleep and are easily disturbed by noisy neighbours in the room next door i would suggest some place else.. The breakfast is not luxurious but the kids ate well..
The location is ideal, The breakfast was ok, Checkin/checkout was very easy, Staff was super nice Family of 4 in a room with comfortable bed/bunkbeds was ideal for us Kitchen was a surprise and plus there are fridge and freezers, ideal for family with kids

Cold shower curtain kept clinging to the body in a very unpleasant way because of how air moves in the tiny shower
Very cozy room - Soft and warm carpet floor in the whole room - Proper double bed mattress that allowed us to cuddle at night (we didn't have this in the hotel we stayed prior) - Openable window for fresh air at night - 3 beds in one room - perfect for our stay with our 8-years old daughter - Nice interior design, perfect sitting stoels, very cozy bed lighting - Very easy self check-in 24h a day thanks to all doors having a digital code - Breakfast was good - Dark coloured walls look stylish, but were frightening for our daughter at night

The air quality was a bit poor. The lighting also could be better.
The hotel is situated right at the central square of Karlskrona. The bathroom is nice and large. Very good breakfast.
