Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

1/Twin bed is too small 150 CM width 2 /room design is super simple unlike a ikea home with 4 star price 3/ room heater was broken they should checked before let us check-in
The hotel isn’t value for money, The room is very simple don’t feel like ikea design hotel at all. After visited ikea museum that we have little exception at the room design, however the room is very simple as youth hostel with the 4 star hotel price . The twin bed just 150CM width.

Room is simple but very comfy, breakfast buffet is great and had many choices. I really liked the living rom/chill areas with couches to relax or read.

The breakfast was very good and tasty! And from savory to healthy every option was available! Our room was nicely furnished and the bathroom had a lot of space to put your toiletries. The room was exceptionally clean. We had dinner and lunch at the restaurant and our dishes tasted delicious! The staff was very friendly and accomodating.

The room was very simple but functional. It lacks personality. Also the rooms that are facing the parking lot get in smoke smell when people stand outside smoking, close to the flag. If possible, it would be good to have a smoking area, a bit away from the building. Both for the smell, but also for the noise (people tend to talk while smoking). This was after 11 pm.
The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good, I really enjoyed your overnight oats! The hotel staff members were kind and helpful, but were missing that little extra to ask how was your stay or enjoy your day, welcome back etc.

You should tell in advance to customers that the ticket for the museum is included in the price of the room.
The hotel is well located to visit the ikea museum (just jn front of it, they share the same parking spot).

Breakfast hours were for the early risers, not the vacationers.
Clean, comfortable room, with community living room, microwave, dishes, etc. On-site bar with surprisingly expansive wine list and reasonable prices. Access to laundry facilities was an unexpected bonus.

The light in the room was sparse. During autumn and winter a little bit more light would improve the orientation and could make it more comfortable.
The breakfast buffet is excellent. The hotel is modern and clear structured. Friendly and supportive staff.

We liked everything. We would have liked to stay longer but 2 rooms for more than 1 or 2 nights exceeds our budget.
The family room with the door in between is great. The entire hotel is extremely family friendly and we felt very welcome. We used the washing machine (nice, some clean clothes at the end of our vacation!), spent time in the 'living room' and enjoyed the breakfast in the morning.

The rooms could be a little more soundproof, but maybe we were just a little unlucky with the people staying in the room above ours. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Good value for money.
Great hotel and fun to experience at least once, certainly if you like ikea. Beautiful garden and a lot of the rooms give direct access to it. I like the motel feel that it gives.
