Sometimes the prison design is a bit too kitch. We didn’t realize we were REALLY GOING TO SLEEP IN PRISON :D

I can honestly say there is nothing I didn't like.

Staying at Långholmen Hotell was an incredible experience. I loved the island location and beautiful surroundings for enjoyable walks. The prison building and cells are well equipped, modern, and very comfortable. I discovered something new and interesting every day. All the staff were amazing, very friendly, helpful and kind. The included breakfast has everything for a wide range of preferences, and the restaurant has authentic, delicious meals. The whole experience was truly memorable, and the people of Sweden were wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was lovely, fresh and delicious! The location was perfect with the Hornstull station nearby to take me all over the city. I loved the grounds of the hotel and have told many to stay there! And I’ll be back!

I can only think of one tiny inconvenience, that is, how loud was the door leading to the corridor with the cells/rooms. I could hear people coming late at night and early in the morning. Other than that, everything was amazing.

The best feature of this hotel is the location, the island is beautiful and within a walking distance from the metro station. The breakfast was superb, a lot to chose from.

The prison style was very fun and their was a lot of history and information available about the hotels past. The breakfast buffet was brilliant and the staff were super polite and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Smooth check-in, nice and well-equipped room and bathroom, tasty buffet breakfast, unique atmosphere and nice location with great transport options. There was cleaning everyday and the towels were changed when needed. Definitely recommended.

I liked very much diversity for all foods. Decoration of the resturant, room and rest lounges are very intereting. All fields of hotel are very calm and peaceful. The location is very good especially for walking

It is a peculiar building with its charme, in a very quiet spot, a little island where a walk is worth taking. Exceptionally helpful and easy staff. Wonderful breakfast. Very good value for money

The location was excellent, close to the centre by tube. Lovely area to walk around, nice walk along the canal and through the park. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Good selection of vegan food at breakfast.

I was happy with everything.

Charming hotel that was once a prison - truly unique experience. Situated just a brief up to 15 minute walk from tube station that is surrounded by shops, restaurants, and bars, making it convenient location (Stockholm central 10min from there). Adjacent to the hotel, there’s a bridge that provides breathtaking views of Stockholm’s iconic landmarks, perfect for capturing memorable photographs. If you wish you can take a lovely walk along the water from either side of the bridge and it will be definitely a nice experience. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the breakfast they served was nothing short of perfect earning a solid 10 out of 10.
