Friendly and welcoming staff. Both breakfast and dinner was high quality. And the kids loved the trampoline in the backyard

I could never figure out how to lock the door to my room, however I was not concerned at all about leaving it open when I was not there.

There are so many things to like. First off the location and the views. The price for the room is very affordable. The restaurant at the hotel is very nice with a beautiful view of the mountains. Nice selection of drinks and the breakfast was top notch. The sauna was free and very nice. The room was basic, but the beds were comfortable. The view from my room was very beautiful. Lastly the owner made you feel like you were at home. A++++++. No doubt I will stay here again. Thanks !!!

The hotel need small renovation.

Very helpful staff shows every new guest where are diner room, sauna etc like in old style. Beautiful view from the window. Close main road, parking.

Tight bathroom but sauna compensate it. Nearest type2 charger for electric cars has 30 minutes walking distance.

the room was simple but clean. The shared toilet and shower facilities were very clean. Dinner with appetizers and desserts was worth of every kroner, extremely tasty :). The staff is really nice

The host and the hotel staff were very friendly. The food was delicious, we had dinner at the restaurant, and it was full of tasty and seasonal vegetables, a starter, bread, salad, soup with fish and shrimps, and dessert. All tasted like proper healthy food and handmade elaborated, so it provides a very good experience. Breakfast was also very good 😊😊!!

As for the owner - bad communication, asked for invoice with my company details - she was getting rude and did not provide me any of that, even though it was asked upon reservation and in booking receipt it was written as-well. Gave just the receipt from terminal, which was thrown in the garbage, so I got it not in the best shape. Worst experience during my trip from Stockholm to Are, stayed in Sarna, Idre, Vemdalen and Are and this was the worst price-performance, the most expensive one, with the worst attitude.

Terrific place! This place is clean, serves great food, and has an overall lovely atmosphere. Definitely worth the little added walk from the town centre.

Nothing to complain

Lovely lounge and terrace, nice view towards the river. Hammocks and rocking chairs, comfy sofas. The breakfast was amazing. Great variety and quality items. The staff is quick to refill and clean out the tables. Comfortable beds, quiet, slept well. Great facilities like sauna, gym, and games even though we did not use them.

Razor blade and deodorant from previous guest. The bed legs were broken and constant noise from other guests in the hallway kept me awake.

Breakfast was really nice. Also very beautiful place.
