Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Germanyparking garage is not appropriate for the current car sizes (guests used two parking spaces); parking possible next to the hotel and rather cheap if one does not mind a 10 minutes walk; gym exists but nothing for real work out (mitigated if one does not mind a five minute walk to a gym within city center); varity of breakfast was below the average of such hotels, esp. I was disappointed by the rolls and bread offer (hotel has an own bakery but one cannot enjoy that at breakfast => incomprehensible); beds rather on the soft side but swedish standard; not very eco friendly: light concept only adjustable for entrance and living space; no waste separation in room possible
very nice location within the city center, nevertheless quiet; breakfast was very good -tasty and regional products used-, but ....; very clean; spacious room;

SwedenThe room was clean, nice, Scandinavian style. And the bed was very comfortable. Yet, to match the Michelin star food, it fell short. No surprise, good standard but, still standard.
Just the bistro was open, but the food was still top quality and worth the trip. The rooftop terrace for a perfect summer evening.

SwedenThis hotel has no service, in person, email or via phone. Service is at its minimum effort, mirroring the swedish practical & minimalist design. It’s a hotel with nice rooms & good food but there are no tables free. We’ve stayed in every type of room. Its a great place to stay to be unseen, unspoken & uninterested in.
Pretty awesome to stay at swedish design hotel with michelin bistro in vaxjö. a small town in småland where nothing ever happens.

SwedenTook the Taberas menu. Mostly fantastic tastes and innovative presentations. But all servings were not quite cutting edge and some presentations were over the top - a tiny piece of moose heart served on a big block of wood for example. No, simplify a bit and make sure there is more of a ”red line” throughout the menu. As it stands now, the cost of a room and dinner for two was a bit on the high side. We will come back, but next time perhaps the Bistro will suffice with a couple signature dishes and not least the fantastic wine choices.
Very comfortable, clean, parking in basement, staff friendly and professional. But you really come for the restaurant which was excellent mostly, but a bit uneven. Wine menu (we had the more expensive one) was perfect and breakfast was very good. The presentation of a hot stone to warm the hands was ingenious. You do not leave hungry ! and you will have a truly memorable experience.

United Kingdommy partner and I wanted to go for a swim and couldn’t find any bath robes inside our closet. therefore we called the reception to double check. The answer we got from the receptionist was ( depends which room type you have booked, if you have booked a classic room, we do not provide bathrobes) My partner and I were very disappointed. The hotel has got sauna and a outdoor swimming pool which I assume it is available to every guest regardless which room type they have booked. so my partner and I had to wear our own clothes to the changing room which was not a problem if there are storage/ locker available. however their storage are so petit like jewellery boxes and the changing room is so small, has got no space at all to leave our clothes. as a premium hotel I do expect better service and facilities than this. the way the staff responded sounded a bit discriminated as-well. felt like as we have booked a classic room only (which was the lowest price, still £210 a night tho!) therefore not entitled to ask for anything. Fun fact: they do have iron, a foldable rack for your luggage and even umbrella, but not a basic bathrobe? I mean, it does make sense if they do not have swimming pool/ sauna available. unless I misunderstood, people who booked a classic room can not use their pool/ sauna. not impressed and we will not return to this hotel in the future.
the room was clean and spacious.

GermanyThe staff is not very helpful and it feels strange to get hindered by the security man to enter the hotel or bar. Not enough space for hotel guests in the bar or restaurant. The junior suite was lacking a sofa to really sit other than on a chair. The hotel has long ways to get to the facilities and a complicated elevator system. The value for money was not there. For half the price it would have been fantastic or if the staff would pay more effort to serve the guest.
