We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Great location, just around the corner from Lilla Torg. Friendly and helpful staff. Great lounging area on the ground floor serving coffee and tea throughout the day. Compact rooms with super comfortable beds. Good breakfast buffet with a wide range of options.

United KingdomThe room is a little dated. The bathroom especially could do with a little update. Remove the small bath and just put a shower tray in there. Some of the tiles seemed to be coming off in our bath room.
The hotel is easy to find and right in the centre of the old town. Great for exploring the city. The lobby and dining area look great and are really comfortable. Breakfast in the dining area was really goo. They put out a very impressive spread. To catter for most tastes.

FinlandThe rooms are not really spacious but it is not a huge problem. The bathrooms are spacious enough My main problem was that noise really travels in the hotel, it was not fun to hear what people talk in the next door. The hotel was kind enough to put earplugs by the bed but they were quite big and stiff so it did not work. One area to improve would be the doors of the rooms. The doors currently move and make a sound when other guests close their doors. It feels uncomfortable to hear your own door moving each time someone slams their own door. We also found the bed mattress way too soft and thin. The hotel can definitely improve the guests' sleeping quality by changing the mattresses with harder ones.
The location of the hotel is superb, 10 min. walking distance from the Central station and couple of minutes to all central attractions. Continental and generous breakfast which continues until 11 am on weekends Toiletries are provided such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion, cotton pads, q-tips The rooms do not have air-conditioning like many other hotels do. One can open the window and get fresh air, which is great. The staff are nice and helpful. Good selection of Pukka teas in the rooms and complimentary sparkling water too Coffee, tea and biscuits in the lobby area throughout the day. One can sit and relax in the lobby before the flight, enjoying a cuppa Check out is at 12:00 which is great if you have a later flight (usually hotels in Malmö have check out at 11:00) Overall, the hotel would provide a decent stay for a night or two if one came to Malmö for sightseeing. Otherwise it is bit of a traditional option for millennials

United KingdomWhile I have nothing bad to say about my stay at ProfilHotels, I was a bit disappointed about how my booking was handled. I chose this hotel because it gave me a good discount with Genius, but I made a mistake and put the wrong date. I sent a request to change the non refundable reservation within half an hour of my original booking, but the Genius discount is not applied to changes so I got asked to pay full price. The Booking.com staff asked the hotel to make an exception and allow me to cancel for free and book again with the discount, but they refused, so I paid the difference. While I totally acknowledge the terms and conditions of the non refundable reservations and that the mistake was on my part, I also think that we are all humans and mistakes can happen. Since I reached out straight away, a bit of understanding would have been nice. On top of that, I got even chased about the payment that I had already made the day before, with no apology from their part once they found it.
The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great and the variety of food was excellent! It was easy to find the hotel and it's in a very good location from where it's easy to visit the city centre. The sauna was available to use until midnight, which was a great touch. I had a very good stay.

DenmarkStay: March 8th - March 10th. I read the reviews before arriving and saw comments about the rooms and cleanliness issues. I thought it couldn't be that bad and booked anyway. The first room we were given was a standard queen room. It wasn't cleaned well, had flies around, visible cracks in the panels, dirty walls, and the TV screen was slightly broken etc. I usually take things with a grain of salt, but this was unacceptable. Anyway, we went down to reception, and they were very understanding and switched us to another room quickly, which was a bit larger and cleaner. So, it ended well thanks to the staff, especially the person on the evening shift (whom we interacted with the most). Again, We loved the location and staff, but we do think that a manager/owner should consider investing in a thorough inspection of all the rooms to address fixable issues.
The evening staff working at the reception, as well as the staff in the restaurant/bar, were very service-minded, friendly, and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing, and the location of the hotel was perfect!
