Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Denmark- We were missing parts of the cutlery, bowls and plates - we only had 1 spoon, and 1 bowl to share and no pot holder to grab the very warm pots and pans over the fire. We asked the neighbour's tent who found one burned/broken pot holder we could share. We were also out of oil - luckily we brought our own. In general, we were missing more things to prepare or serve the food in, fx. an additional larger pot - if you are both boiling potatoes and making goulash. - The pots and pans weren't clean when we arrived. - We missed more bags, boxes or bins in order to accommodate the wish for proper waste sorting. - Good idea to bring a power bank, as you can't be sure there's enough electricity for both cooling food, lights and charging. - On a final note, which is not really a critique, but more a reflection of something we have imagined differently. This is a great location if you want to go to the countryside, but it is not a quiet hidden spot deep into the nature/wild/forest as we were looking more for. It was a bit more 'busy' than expected; the sound of a freight train once in a while, someone practising on their Motorcross nearby most of the day etc. This definitely didn't make our stay bad, but might be good to know if you are looking for completely silent, calm surroundings.
- Stunning, unique surroundings. The view of the lake and sauna and the sheep chilling around the small hills were absolutely adorable. - Very cosy and lovely tents. We loved cooking over the fireplace and hanging out on the sheepskin and blanket on the small 'terrace'. - The sauna was super easy to warm up and the dip in the lake was amazing.

SwedenWould be nice if showers are a bit closer to tents. It was rainy week, so with lot of water, there was also a lot of grass that could have been trimmed, otherwise shoes are always wet when walking. Perhaps some small path that leads to tents would be good option. In general, these are few ideas to improve, but nothing that we could say it was bad.
Super nice and cozy tents, with really comfy beds and warm blankets. Fireplace in front of the tent is great, with 2 nice seats to relax, enjoy the fire, nature and tranquility. Very easy to start the fire, all necessary tools for the fire and for cooking available. Woods ready as well. Sauna just across the small lake 1 min walk from tent, so you can easily start fire in sauna, enjoy sauna, and then jump into the lake to refresh. Nice and relaxing environment when you want to escape the city, noise and all distractions, to enjoy the nature fully. We had a dog with us, since it's a pet friendly glamping, that was lovely we could bring him with us. Check-in and check-out is very simple, key is waiting for you in a small box at the property entrance, so you can come in and leave any time.

SwedenThere was no warm water in the shower, and hiking locations are rather far to reach on foot.
Very picturesque stay over the sheep's meadow in spacious, wooden tents. Hard to believe how much it looks You're supplied with everything to have a comfortable stay in the outdoors without compromising the camping experience. The bed is warm and comfortable, the tent is clean and well equipped. A small herd of sheep would come by in the afternoon and graze calmly outside our tent. There's a wood oven sauna within a short walking distance, and a small pond to dip into. The location is quiet and peaceful, with only the sounds of farm animals, birds and insects occasionally rupturing the silence.

BelgiumThe chairs around the fire were a bit hard to sit on the whole night.
The peace and quiet. The location, between the sheeps. There were other guests but you could not see or hear them. The bed was super comfortable and going to bed after a whole night at the fire is amazing. The bathroom was outside too so it was an experience of its own! Would come back again for sure.
