Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe breakfast had a good range but it could have been hotter.
We were very late arring as our train broke down getting to Malmö. We phoned ahead and staff were really helpful. They also ordered us a taxi so quickly when our bus had been cancelled so we reached our event on time.

United KingdomThe air quality in the room is something that I find uncomfortable over time. Personally I will only stay one or two nights if I come again. I struggled to make the over-bath shower work but the slow fill of the bath made that option unbearably slow!
We have stayed at the Scandic Triangeln before and think the location is excellent. The range and quality of the food at breakfast is high but negotiating around the buffet is awkward when it is busy. They asked us to nominate a time for breakfast but this did not seem to ensure a smooth experience.

United States of AmericaI have stayed two nights and the room next day was not cleaned. I did not request for room service but I was expecting the room to be cleaned automatically.
Excellent breakfast, comfortable bed, Staff was super friendly. 3 minutes from Triangeln train station. I would definitely stay again.

SwedenThe only thing I didn't like is that you have to book your breakfast time. The elevator notice claims it's to fight food waste but I eat so little I don't contribute to it. In addition they also said it's to help eliminate congestion. This was a bit untrue because when we got to breakfast no one was there to check we had the right time and, when we tried to find a seat there were so many dirty tables it was quite difficult. So the system isn't working. We were not staying for business and so had a lot of flexibility but the breakfast booking made it so that we had to be somewhere at a certain time and this wasn't nice. I know the hotel has their views on this policy but as guests this is ours and it didn't work for us. If they want to have this service they should have it as a polite request but it felt mandated and forced. Other than this it was a great stay and I recommend the hotel. If you know what time you'll be breakfasting then it will be fine.
- clean - location - restaurant food - staff, especially our restaurant server, he really took excellent care of us, we had a wonderful dinner. - room was cleaned very well and had a lovely view. - reception staff were very helpful. - convienient parking

SwedenThe sauna can't be booked, and the rooms don't feel cozy. If you want room service, it adds a fee of 150 SEK.
The location is pretty good in the city centre. The booking comes with free bike rental, which it's nice. The breakfast is included and it's also good.

GreeceThe anesthetic of the hotel was the classic North European old school vibe. We did not appreciate the carpet covering the floor from side to side.

BelgiumRooms and gym just felt a little 'tired'. Nothing wrong at all, but didn't feel super modern. I missed having a fridge in the room, but in all, only little points.
Location was great, room clean and plenty of space. Gym was nice, although a little basic. Wifi worked well enough for work and streaming a bit in the evening.

United States of AmericaLet me start by saying that we usually don’t have any issues, and stay here on average 10 nights per year. This time we asked for early check in and got our room around 12:30pm instead of 3pm. As we put down a blanket on the floor for our baby to play on we found big glass shards on the floor. After notifying the reception they sent a cleaner who vacuumed the floor but after she left we found another piece of glass. We felt that we had to thoroughly search the floor ourselves before we felt OK letting our baby play on the blanket. The beds are a bit too firm for me and my wife. I think you can request softer beds, or used to be able to, but we forgot this time.
Great location, great value for your money, awesome breakfast buffet, very accessible by bus, train and car (though the connected public garage charges $25 per 24h), very helpful and polite staff. As we travel with an infant we requested a crib and a fridge for the room which was provided.

United KingdomWhen we opened the door to the room we had just checked into, it was obvious it hadn't been cleaned. There were dirty towels on the floor and the bed unmade. The man in reception was very apologetic and upgraded us to a better room. When entering that room, we found coffee cups with coffee still in them, opened milk packages on the table and it looked like someone had been sitting on the beds. The third and final room was great. Me and my partner are both vegans. We had read so many good reviews about their vegan breakfast so we were pretty excited. When we got to the buffet in the morning, we were surprised about the few vegan options. There was a fridge with vegan yogurt, butter, milk and pate. But they'd grouped together vegan and gluten free, which meant that the only bread guaranteed to be vegan was hard gluten free bread. When we asked the staff if none of the other 20 varieties of bread on the buffet was vegan she said no. I knew some of them were most likely vegan because I buy them in the super market regularly, but she didnt even want to go and check the ingredients. I asked for vegan pancakes and she said there were none. None of the food at the buffet said anything about the ingredients, so I dont know how people with allergies can eat anything? After a while the lady came back and said there were actually vegan pancakes. Over all not a great experience for vegans.

SingaporeThe sofa bed for the kids to sleep on was pretty bad. It even sloped down where their heads were so I felt like you were sliding off the mattress while you were sleeping.
The staff were lovely, and I really enjoyed the decor (and food) of the restaurant on the ground floor. We particularly enjoyed the shuffleboard. The housekeeper also went above and beyond to make us comfortable and even brought 2 rollaway beds for the children so they didn’t have to sleep on the sofa bed.

SwedenYou have to rely on the elevators (stairs are for emergency use only) - only one of the three lifts was working properly so we had to wait a long time in a busy hotel. An engineer was trying to fix them as we left the hotel.

PortugalThe rooms still have carpet floors and the trash bin wasn't emptyed when we arrived.
Great location, almost everything was at a small walk distance. The breakfast was the best we ever had in a hotel. The room size was great, having the third sleeping bed and even a chaise longue sofa. The common spaces had a great look, I loved to have time to enjoy them, and also important was the availability of umbrellas.
