It would be better if the bedding rental fee isn’t so expensive and if the price was mentioned when we book the place. but all in all everything was fine:)

It’s THE hub for Abisko so staying here was kinda the only option for us. The place was great regardless. We enjoyed our time here! We saw a glimpse of northern light at around 2am on our last night:)

Bathrooms would be improved with a separate shower (rather than a wet room)

Good base in Abisko. Very convenient for activities and great that the hotel has gear-rental on-site. The dinner in the restaurant was incredible.

    Everything was fine :-)

The station is a very clean place, comfortable rooms, nice beds, not too small. I would definitely stay there again to explore the area! There's lots to do as well.

Twin beds were a little discomforting.

The location was really good. Wifi was good and the common areas were nice. Vegetarian options were less in on-premise restaurants.

The living area could use a bit more seating for the number of people that can be accommodated in the cottage. The kitchen could use a toaster. We brought our own bedsheets, pillow covers and towels, however, it seemed unnecessary to have to carry these items from abroad when traveling internationally just for this location. I can understand this approach for the shared hostels where they are trying to keep the cost down but the cottages could include these basics at these prices.

The location is great. The beds, pillows and blankets were comfortable. The shoe and clothes drying closet in the entry area was extremely useful. It ensured that our shoes, socks and towels were dry for every use. The sauna in the hostel area was great and we used it every day.

The chairlift up to the Aurora station excursion. The group was too large and consumed too much time.

The staff especially restuarant manager, Mr.Kenny. He gave us pkenty of useful informations. And the food inthe restuarant is very cheap and fresh and delicious.

Could be the perfect place to spend a holiday in Abisko National Park
    • Leisure trip
    • Couple
    • Twin Room
    • Stayed 2 nights

The hotel is far too expensive for what it has to offer. (It is rather a youth hostel with some double rooms, but it charges more than a 4* hotel in the same area. The rooms are very small.

The location of STF Abisko Turiststation is just perfect: You can start hiking, skiing etc. right from the front door. Whatever equipment you might need, can be rented in the shop, which also offers a limited range of food and drinks. The breakfast is ok, though not impressive. Dinner is also ok. - You can get all the information you might need from publications in the hotel or from the very helpful and friendly staff.

We arrived when it was very dark and although the staff explained how to find our chalet we had difficulty finding it. If there are any signs, they were covered in snow.

The chalet was much nicer than I expected from the photos online. We also really enjoyed having our own kitchen to cook our own meals.

The bathroom was not the best but it was still okay. Also it was a bit cold inside, hard to make it warmer.

The views from windows were amazing, very secluded location, truly felt like an adventure vacation. The hotel was cozy, fun and its services simply great.

The mattresses were terrible, none of us could rest properly as people were slamming doors all the time. We payed the same amount of money for a room that was by far better and included a luxury breakfast in narvik. It was fairly expensive given that we had to do the cleaning before checkout and it didn’t include any breakfast.

Location was nice; free access to sauna; friendly staff

I don’t even know where to start. Everything exceeded our expectations. Just the fact that this place is so far up North but still manages to run on a world class level. The staff, the food, the facilities, the hotel room. You can tell they care about the comfort of their guests simply by all the small details like public sesting areas all around the place. Amazing. We will certainly come back. Thank you.
