Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was rather small, with no coffee or tea facilities. Access to the pool needs to be paid apart amd booked in advance.

The only bit I didn't love is our standard queen (160 bed) room felt a bit small, however it was quite and comfortable to sleep.
Easy to get to from the highway, a very relaxing feel overall with a nice breakfast spread. We did not go to town, just a stopover on a road trip, so I'm not certain about the proximity or ease of getting there. Room and bathroom were clean and nice.

beware: dog fee is SEK 300 regardless of the length of a stay and is still the same for only 1 night also: rooms for dogs are on availability only! check with hotel BEFORE booking -> we almost had to be moves to another hotel there is NO information about the "pets allowed" conditions before booking. the filter "pets allowed" therefore doesn't automatically apply to the whole hotel
clean comfortable bed air-conditioned (although you can't set a specific temp and the lowest setting was still too warm for us)

The bed was softer than I prefer but this is a very minor point. I'd have liked to see porridge in the breakfast buffet (but there were lots of other options).
Despite my late arrival, the staff fulfilled my request for a dinner item not on the menu and it was delicious. The dark interior is very relaxing. The room was calm and quiet. Cleanliness was perfect.

You need a car to get here, not very central. Spa area was nice but not included, and hard to get a time if you didn’t book weeks in advance.

Super small rooms Windows aren’t opening Housekeeping work not every day, seems like, because our room haven’t been cleaned, no matter that we didn’t put the “do not disturb” sign on the door. Spa zone is paid separately but there’s no limit for the amount of guests at the same time, but before to go, the time should be booked for the visit. :) Strange logic. Water in pool is too warm.
Nice area around, and view from the window, no matter the road. SPA is awesome when not crowded. Very good breakfasts!

Employees were mostly friendly, but the evening dining experience was rather chaotic and with long, unnecessary waiting times (restaurant being understaffed). The design of the rooms is very dark, which I personally don't like very much. Of course, this is very personal. 😊 Electric car chargers: there are only three of them available and they can not be reserved. If this is relevant to you, make sure you arrive very early. Pool & SPA usage costs extra for hotel guests.
Stayed at the hotel twice. Rooms are ok and in good shape, especially the ones going towards the forrest. Breakfast is very good, but restaurant was always very crowded (evenings & mornings) with waiting times in the evening.
