Kitchen was a little under-euqipped in terms of pots/pans. Ok for us as we brought microwaveable food but any "proper" cooking would have been difficult. Bring your own kitchen towels (we had been before and knew)

Good value, friendly accommodation near the skiing resort. Easy check in, simple but spacious and clean room.

it was not clear from the offer (unless you looked at all 83 pictures) that linen was not included in the price. this should, in my opinion, have been indicated, just as it was for breakfast.

The location was good for our purpose. It was within walking distance to Orsa. The place was clean. The lady at reception was very helpful. The breakfast was very good. Lots of choices.

The two bedrooms in two different buildings. Was not all clear before arrival.

Friendly reception. Nice B&B with everything you need without being luxurious. Big room with kitchen and terras. Good wifi and buffet breakfast. Good shared bathroom. Plenty of parking accross the street. Good price-value. Interesting building. You can save some money by using your own bed sheets or sleeping bag. Tip: Swedisch B&B in general ask to use your own bed linnen.

It's a 20 minute walk from Orsa itself - not a big deal but good to keep in mind in case you're walking. Extra cost if you don't do your cleaning - everything is provided so that you can easily do so :-)

The house is amazing, full of history and artifacts preserved with care - from tower clocks to built-in room heating and a Dala common room with an incredible decoration. The staff has been extremely helpful in accomodating my early check-in and with wise advise for a nice hike to a waterfall :-) Rooms are organised by groups, so the shared bathroom and kitchen is only for 2 in my case. Comfortable & spacious room. Fitted kitchen space. There's a TV room as well.

Superb house with very kind hosts and good breakfast. You can rent bikes cheaply. Very charming.

it was probably my fault that i did not realize that bedsheets, towels & room cleaning was not included. the room had a unique smell of thrift store & cleaning vinager, unfortunately, the placed incense sticks did not really help. the windows were locked shut & could not be opened … maybe it was good, because the road is so close, that an open window would have made sleep impossible due to traffic noise. altogether, after paying for all the extras (no breakfast), our stay was even more expensive than other hotels (!) in the area & for the worst room i ever had.

it‘s just off the mainroad, so easy to reach for a short overnight stay. the building is pretty, parking is free

The bathroom was shared and got very wet on the floor with showering, but then again: still a very good price-quality ratio.

Cosy, plenty of space, wonderfully old fashioned, very nice and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. One of the best we ever had. Also a lot of vegan options.

Lovely location & accommodation. This is a demonstration of one of the many reasons I love Sweden, this is an old hotel but is maintained well & everything works. Nice breakfast too.

It would be handy to have a cord for pulling down the blackout blind rather than having to climb up on a chair.

The room I stayed in (in the annex) unfortunately had a very noticeable noise problem probably caused by a ventilation room behind the kitchen wall, preventing a good night's sleep (for me anyway). Hope this will be fixed (a kitchen door could help). Also, it was impossible to open the windows (maybe good to know for people who love sleeping while breathing fresh air).

Even though I booked and arrived after 9 pm in the evening, the person I called was very friendly and flexible.

the curtains and blinds were too light- when it is light early you wake up and can’t sleep anymore

Nothing, but it could potentially get rather cramped if all rooms are occupied. Add it was wee were mostly on our own.

Great location for outdoor pursuits: ice skating on the lake 5 mins by car, Orsa grönklitt with cross country and alpine skiing 20 mins. We stayed in the separate house "torpet" right by the church. Be prepared for time travel, the house is totally 60ies/70ies typical Swedish decor, we loved it. Room spacious, child had a separate small room behind ours. Kitchen well-equipped, nice Lounge.
